Had this for awhile, works great. Had some small dents on it when I got it but got a partial refund and got to keep it. It keeps heat good except on extremely cold and windy days. I use it on my back porch to cook a turkey this past thanksgiving and it stuggled to get to temp but the bird came out cooked in the typical time frame it should have so I’m not sure if it was reading some of the outside wind and cold just do to it being in the elements all day or not. I’ve had this nearly 2 years now, and here’s my notes to anyone considering getting one: 1: you will have to replace the control panel periodically. I keep mine covered when not in use, but the plastic face of the control panel has been peeling off since the smoker was only about 6 months old. Recently, I’ve started having segments of the display go out. Replacements are fairly cheap on here. 2: you need a source of smoke other than the chip tray. It simply doesn’t produce enough smoke as it comes stock. I added the smoke generator that mounts to the side, which works well enough with chips. But I’ve started using pellets in it, and have gotten much higher quality smoke since then. I have also added a pellet smoke tube for cooks where I need LOTS of smoke, like when I’m making sausages. Other than those two things, it’s an excellent little smoker. It holds temperature well and, once you get the smoke figured out, it produces high quality smoked meats. ... show more
