This item came with 100% charge and is very intuitive to use. I like the ease of changing between heads and guides. I’ve only used this once but it has the feel of a high quality product. I shaved with the longest stubble beard and it cut just the right length to get me through 4-5 days. The foil shaving head removed the hair under my chin and neck quickly and without irritation. I have tried a few other foil shavers like this one from other brands but never seem to have any luck with them but I will say this one has impressed me so far. It has some decent battery life while I don't used it every day I have had it since Dec 10 and fully charged it when I received it and so far I am at about %50 battery life. The light on the shaver is nice to have but to me it's position is a little off and sometimes difficult to get in the right spot to see what your doing. I’ve been using this for about a week or so, the shave quality is really good. It takes care of stubble very rapidly. This is a very durable product as I have dropped it a few times accidentally and it does not skip a beat! It’s nowhere near as noisy as a lot of electric razors which will make your significant other happy. Very affordable, as far as the weight is concerned it’s a lot lighter than other electric razors. I wanted to treat myself to a nice at home electric razor. This was very disappointing. The instructions say “Make sure to use your new face shaver for at least 2-3 weeks to allow you skin to adjust. You may experience temporary, minor irritation.” I could deal with that if the razor would at least shave my face smooth. The razor is actually warm to the touch. It takes so much effort to shave 24hrs worth of hair growth back to clean. My Brawn travel electric foil razor leaves no hair after a few quick passes, is not irritating, and is a 3rd of the price. This electric razor from Manscape feels nicely made and is easy to use, but at $99 better value exists. This product was well thought-out, and it shows when starting with the packaging. A cardboard pull tab on the side of the box comes away (sadly mine didn’t stay in one piece), and opening the book-like lid reveals a beautiful electric razor beneath a plastic cover. The razor itself has to foil shave heads and one linear “trimmer” style head for longer hairs that don’t make it into the foil shaver. Included in the box is a trimmer head (right in the bin for me, I have much nicer dedicated trimmers which are zero-gapped) for evening sideburns. A charging cable is also included. The heads snap into place with magnets which feels both luxurious and secure. The razor has a really nice weight to it and feels somewhat “flat” to hold, i.e. the handle is not a circular shape but has a flatter front and back – I think this helps the product feel high quality. The power button is easy to operate, and a travel lock button below keeps the razor from turning on in transit, a really great feature. The razor works as well as other electric razors I’ve tried in the past, no better and no worse. This is my gripe with the high price tag. There’s really not much to say here besides I continue to prefer a blade shave as I can get much closer with less irritation. Now for the big omission from the package: a travel cover. The travel lock button makes it pretty clear that this razor is designed to be used during trips, but there’s no cover for the foil shave head. Foil shave heads are delicate and thin items which are easily damaged. There’s no way I would travel without a shave head cover since the replacement cost is significant. While I like this razor, the high price would prevent me from recommending it. ... show more
