I like that this bench sits lower off the ground than many (about 16.5"). The back is a bit longer, too, which I like. The back is easy to adjust - another positive. Unfortunately, the gap between the seat and back is about 3 inches which is just way too much IMO. Also, IMO, the seat adjustment mechanism is poorly designed. I looked at many work out benches trying to decide what would work for a small area. This was not the cheaper option but had better reviews then many others that even looked better in the pictures. It's comfortable and fits my body well. I'm5'8" 175#. Only complaint is ankle support has a crooked weld so I choose not to use it. I have used it for several weeks now and am satisfied.

Seat is a little tricky to adjust but the back is very simple.

    • Works perfect for my home gym!
I'm not a small guy so I wanted to make sure I got a bench that could not only safely hold me, but my weights as well. This bench definitely gives me the confidence to lift without worry! The only issue I have is that the seat adjustment requires the pin to be pulled out completely and reinserted at the desired angle. It would be nice if it was a system where it could be pulled partially out and allowed to swing freely, locking into place automatically. However, since I don't change the angle of the bench much (I usually only change the angle of the back which is much easier) it doesn't bother me much.
