I like this product a LOT that actually is and does what the description says. I would share some tips - If the edges lift during process.I recommend an extra 1-2cm of width when cutting the film first.Then spray more soap water .Used scraper to spread the bubbles to the edges, must to cutter to trim the excess. This way allows the window to adjust closely the window film.Hope this helps! ... show more

I used this film on my west facing garage door windows. I could not keep it from curling up at the corners. I went as far as to apply clear silicon to the edges but it takes too long to cure enough to hold the film edges from curling . The windows are sandwiched between two frames that are held together with screws so I separated the frames and removed the glass panes. I then covered the entire panes with the film and reinstalled them so that the framed also sandwiched he film with the glass. This solved the curling problem but, supposedly, this should not be necessary. ... show more

So the pic is of one window with the film, and I had yet to put it on the other. I expected it to be much much darker, but it is not, which is just what I wanted. I like a bit of light, and it's nice that a lot still gets through. However, I have also noticed that the room I put this up in all the windows (It has five windows yikes) is much much cooler now, so that is a bit of an awesome enigma. Easy to install, I have had success with similar types of film before, and this is no different, it sticks with the water/cling, so if you need to adjust, just pull or move a bit, spray some more, and try again. I did let the roll kind of lie out for a bit before using it, it came in a tight roll so it was bound to be curly, but letting it sit made sure that died down a bit. I'll be getting more of this for all my other windows, what I tend to do is have the blinds on the top half of the window, and I want to put this on all the bottoms that I leave exposed. I have all double hung windows so if need be I can always open top down whatever, air flow for example, and the blind will still be in use so no privacy issue really. I followed the instructions and even cleaned my window with a razor blade to make sure there was absolutely nothing on the window. Used soapy water (as the instructions stated) and lots of it. I squeegeed the entire window and within less then a minute it began to peel back. Tried over and over again and same result. Complete garbage. I have used other window cling stuff and it worked great, but not this stuff. $50 down the drain. ... show more
