  • EASY TO CLEAN: After each use, rinse the spout with warm, clean water. After rinse, press and release the trigger quickly to remove any water from inside the needle. Wipe dry with soft cloth. Do not submerge the wine preservation system in water. Not dishwasher safe. Do not use detergent.

This product is amazing, if handled properly. It is easy to use and works marvelously, just make sure you don’t bend the needle. Follow the simple instructions and be gentle. . One Argon capsule will run you approximately 3.5 bottles of wine. Thanks to this gadget I am able to enjoy a glass of wine with a meal or better, it allows me to switch wines from course to course knowing I don’t have to consume all the bottles. Some wines will drip a minuscule drop from the tiny hole burred by the Coravin needle, so take care not to soil your furniture or the labels of other wine bottles. ... show more

I typically keep 40-50 bottles of wine on hand, some stored in a wine refrigerator, that I replenish occasionally. I only drink a glass of wine at a time, usually on weekends, and my wife drinks even less. My sons rarely have wine when they visit on weekends. This meant I'd buy nice wines, open a bottle, but then end up pouring it out after a week. It got to the point where I almost stopped drinking wine at home because so much of it went to waste. Everything changed once I started using Coravin. Now, I can take any bottle, enjoy a glass, and that same bottle can be enjoyed for months later. I'm absolutely thrilled! Additional notes after finishing the first Coravin capsule: The capsule lasted longer than expected, preserving about five 750ml bottles before needing a change. I avoided using the capsule for the last bit of wine (around 150ml) to maximize its lifespan. Tip: When changing the capsule, remove the device from the bottle first to avoid accidentally introducing air into the bottle.
