After searching/ trying all kinds of pillows, I might have found ‘the one’. Yes, this pillow is a mix of down and fiberfill. I’ve tried pure down/feather pillows and most compress too much and have too many feathers that you can feel and make it ‘hard’ once it compresses or there’s not enough filling. The pure fiberfill pillows don’t have any ‘give’, your head doesn’t sink in to the pillow at all. This one has the best of both, your head can sink down in to the pillow some and it doesn’t totally compress in to a hard brick. In addition, the fabric is soft. A lot of recent pillows I have tried have had such a stiff/hard outer fabric that it makes noise when you move, not helpful for sleep. The only open question is longevity but I still think I will order a couple extra. ... show more

Like most families, we have old pillows in our house that we just haven't thought about replacing. We're glad we chose this down pillow because it not only looks great, it feels great in our hands! You can tell right out of the box that this is a well made pillow. The pillow cover is cotton and all the seams are very tight. The pillow has no odor and no feathers or down sticking out. The pillow has a good amount of fluff and doesn't seem to flatten out easily. This is a good thing because a lot of times down/feather pillows look nice and fluffy, but once you actually use them, they flatten out. This is not the case with this pillow. Trust me, this pillow will not let you down. Yes, it's pricey, but when you consider how long it lasts and the fact that you'll be using it almost every night, it's a real bargain. ... show more

The search continues year after year. In my search for the perfect pillow, there were piles of pillows in the house and my husband complained. Now I've finally found it! I've tried many different materials, shapes and sizes. But what I found was that every time we stayed in a hotel, I loved their pillows and even though I bought pillows from different hotel brands, I was always disappointed and out hundreds of dollars. This pillow is just like the hotel pillows, but better! It's very firm and supportive, but still very soft, like sleeping on a giant marshmallow. All my neck and shoulder pain is gone and I've never slept better. I'm so glad I found this brand! I got the standard size and I really regret not getting a size larger. I am obsessed with pillows. I have always wanted to find a pillow like this. I can't tell you how many pillows I've ordered and this is the first one that actually works for me at night. I like a pillow that conforms to my body, but isn't so thin that it loses its support. There are a lot of pillows that are too firm, pillows that are fluffy, pillows that are completely flat - this is the pillow I've been waiting for! It hugs my head and still supports it a few inches - perfect! I love that it's breathable and keeps my head from sweating. I use a satin queen pillowcase and it fits this pillow perfectly. I have chronic cervical spondylosis and have to be very careful in choosing the type and fullness of my pillows, and I chose the right one with this one! At first, when I put my head on it, I was amazed at how soft and supportive it was. It really seemed to mold to my neck and shoulders, something I had never really experienced before. I have to say that I slept well and woke up with no pain in my neck, head or shoulders. It's as supportive as memory foam, but not firm; as molded as shredded sponge, but not lumpy; and as soft as polyester filler, but not flat. It's really very comfortable, supportive and soft.
