  • Great quality and comfortable
Size: King
love it!!! Perfect weight, very soft fabric. I really recommend it!

  • So Luxurious!
Size: Super King
This down duvet is nicer than I expected it to be. Weight/warmth: It is pretty lightweight as far as the appearance of quantity and distribution of down (and looks far less fluffy and even than the photos), but the temperature regulation is great in an area where the temperatures range from 45- to 75-degree (F) highs from day to day at this time of year. I tend to cycle through hot and cold periods throughout the night and I spend less time flipping the covers on and off me with this than I have with other down duvets I've had. Texture: It is super-duper soft to the touch and does not rustle like most other down comforters, so it's quiet, but my husband says he doesn't like the noise it makes when you run your hand across it or it rubs on your face. It is also crazy cloud-like when you are laying under it--it kind of wraps you up in luxuriously fluffy soft warmth--which I love, but if you like flatter or stiffer bedding, this would not be a good option for you. Cleanability: There's an enclosure that came with the duvet that says please don't wash it because it could compromise the fabric, causing it to leak down and feathers, but the tag on the actual duvet suggests machine washing and tumble drying (also ironing). Being big on cleanliness, I decided to try giving it a quick rinse cycle in the washing machine anyway (if I'm going to review it I want to run it through its paces) but it would barely fit inside my large capacity front-load machine, so I nixed that. Last time I checked dry cleaning prices in my area, it would not be cost effective to dry clean it, so I ran it through the dryer on extra low heat to fluff it. Size: I get really tired of skimpy sizing on bedding so I usually get king-size duvets, quilts, or comforters for my queen-size bed. Since receiving this duvet I found that the size is wonky. Apparently, a "Super King" bed is a little smaller than a regular King, but this "Super King" duvet is the largest they have. It is so large, in fact, that there is no duvet cover I've been able to find that will accommodate it without a lot of bunching. That said, it is overly large for a queen size bed, but I think it would be comfortably generous for a standard king. It also has a bunch of loops for securing to a cover (major asset). Overall, I would highly recommend this duvet. The washing issue is really the only problem I have with it, which I think is outweighed by the great features and luxury of the duvet. ... show more

  • Great for hot sleepers and those that like sheer feeling sheets.
Size: Super King
Every item, it seems, of bed products (mattresses, pillows, sheets, toppers, etc.) all claim to be for "Hot Sleepers" but now, it seems that everything claims to be for hot sleepers but nothing actually feels any different. That is, until I got this blanket. This blanket feels, to the touch, several degrees cooler than my room with it's sheer/silky outer layer. It's smooth but not plastic-y. Then the actual blanket is nice and thin, but not super thin, still holds up like a regular comforter, just lighter and silkier. First night using this I actually turned my fan DOWN, which is unheard of. The only downside is that it's so sheer that it slides all around the bed while you sleep. So if you toss and turn you may find that the blanket is off the bed because it's so slippery. (That's not the best term, as it's not plastic at all and it breathes well, but it's very slick). Overall I just wish the blanket wasn't white, as that shows stains very quickly. Other than that if this thing broke today I'd buy another tomorrow. ... show more

  • Love how comfortable it is
Size: Super King
Very nice and solid product that works exactly as it should. Very warm comforter

  • Medium-fill blanket
Size: Twin
I read a lot of reviews about this being sheer and I have to disagree. I would say this is a medium-fill comforter -- not a super plush winter down comforter, but I certainly own summer comforters will similar fill that are far sheerer. As someone who likes to feel some weight on me as I sleep, this is a happy medium between a summer and winter comforter. I am impressed by how leak-proof the fabric seems to be so far, I have yet to find any feather poking out. ... show more

  • So comfortable and thick
Size: Twin
This is a nice, thick duvet! It's going to be perfect for the cooler months to keep my cozy! I love how thick it is. It's like sleeping in a cloud. I've used it for a few weeks but I've had to put it away as the summer comes but I can't wait for fall to get back around so I can pull this out and use it all winter long! ... show more

  • Excellent down comforter, high thread count, light and very comfortable
Size: Super King
The Sanswan down comforter is a high quality product and it is evident right from when I received it. It was packaged very securely in its brand named box and good instructions printed on a quality brochure paper. The comforter lived up to the initial impression. It expanded very quickly once I removed the plastic and was ready for use later that night. My wife (who has a more sensitive nose) and I did not get the initial smell that some of the other reviewers have commented. The comforter down feathers are encased in a high quality, high thread count cloth and not a single feather was sticking out of anywhere or lost. That is usually a common problem with lesser quality down comforters. The stitching on the comforter is very fine and almost invisible. We have tried it out on both cooler and warmer nights so far and it has managed to maintain a good quality of comfort through the nights. Very happy with the Swansan comforter and it is our go to comforter for our master bedroom. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • I've come full circle
Size: Oversized King
I used to have a down comforter. Then after years of that I went with alternative filling. Then got tired of that and got a weighted blanket. Then I started quilting and was into that for a while. But I realized I missed the light fluffy feel of a down comforter. So I'm baaaaaccccccckkkk! This is light and fluffy. I remember well the rustle of covers with these comforters. It's not horrible though. My one complaint is; Looking at the picture in the ad and then looking at what I got. One of these things is not like the other. I don't know how they get the puffy squares, but these squares are flat squares. Not Hollywood squares, but flat squares. It fluffs up a little after it has been unpacked for a while but nothing like the picture. I'm looking for one like that to show up some day. If someone sees that fluffy dream comforter let me know. ... show more
