This comforter - omg. It’s as light as a feather, and breathable. The cover is soooo soft. It feels cool (to the touch), but not cold, yet it kept me comfortablely warm in the AC. I have not slept like I did last night in a long tine. I can’t believe something is actually like the reviews said, lol. When I woke up, I wasn’t all tangled up in the cover from tossing and turning from being hot, then cold, then hot, etc. I suffer with fibromyalgia, and sometimes I can't stand having things like jewelry, clothing, or blankets touching me, so when I said it's as light as a feather, you can believe me. I haven't washed it yet, but I intend to follow the manufacturer guidelines explicitly. I don't want anything to change how it feels to sleep under. I also can't believe the price, which is under $100 for a king (even for an XL King!). I am a hot sleeper, but I still like feeling all cozy and cuddled up in bed, and now I can with this comforter. I’m very picky about my duvet and this is the best one I’ve ever had. I started out years ago with a 9-pound one. As I got older I found it hard to pull up the duvet in the middle of the night. I was very hesitant buying this just based off reviews I had read. However, they have yet to disappoint. I like to sleep with a fan on all year round. Even so, I still find myself sweaty and uncomfortable. I’m not sure if it’s the mattress but was looking for a soft comforter that would keep me cool at night. It is very thin but it’s cool to touch and very silky soft. I had the best sleep with this comforter last night. I felt cool and comfortable all night and didn’t find myself tossing and turning all night. Slept like a baby! I would give it 5 starts except it did come horribly wrinkled. Other recommendation is spending 100 for something so thin, boxing should be more representable. It came in a brown card board box with the comforter inside a vacuumed sealed bag. I kinda felt I had bought a used product or cheap knockoff at first. But the product itself is definitely brand new upon thorough inspection. Other than that it’s a great product. ... show more

We have a 14" California king mattress and our old king-size comforter just wasn't cutting it anymore. With two adults and two dogs, there just wasn't enough coverage, so I decided it was time to upgrade our bedding to something larger and more grand. Found a gorgeous duvet in super king size (120x98") from Get Bed Ready, but the first insert I bought to go inside it was much too warm. I get cold easily but even I was waking up sweating. My partner was a good sport but clearly miserable. Then I found this one. It's the perfect compromise! Light enough for year-round use in Maryland. I just put an extra blanket or two on my side on colder nights, partner is happy again. Was easy to attach to the inside of the duvet, and while it's much thinner than that other comforter, it's still puffy enough to look nice on the bed. I just ran it through the dryer first and that fluffed it right up! I bought it "used like new" at a significant discount and am glad I did. It had clearly never been used, was in pristine condition. Considering ordering another (new) as a gift! Will definitely consider this brand for other items. ... show more

    • Amazing for Night Sweaters!! Buy This!!
While I had a rocky start with this comforter (I was originally sent a used returned comforter as it had stains all over it and was in the wrong package!!) after receiving my replacement, I can honestly say this is the best comforter I've ever had in helping me with my night sweats. I was first surprised at the thinness out of the package but it did puff up slightly after a few days. I have been used to semi-plush comforters but I've always had night sweats so I told myself even though it was thin I would give it a try. After laying under it the heaviness and softness (soooo soft) is just right and feels just as conforming as the more plush comforters I was used to. I had already switched to bamboo sheets and a bamboo mattress cover which had significantly helped my night sweats (was waking up in small puddles of sweat vs large half the bed sweats...yes I'm really that bad lol). I knew I needed to switch up my comforter again so I searched for bamboo comforters and I'm so glad I gave this one a try! I've been using it for a couple weeks and have only woken up in the morning with very light sweating at the most! Id say 80% of the time I wake up sweat free, no more sweat saturated sheets! Its been a couple years of trial and error with different fabrics, brands, etc and the best way to go for night sweats is ALL bamboo (sheets, comforter, pillowcases, and mattress cover). And not only does this help with sweating, it's extremely soft to touch and I can't bring myself to put the bamboo duvet cover I bought on it because of this. I wake up every morning happy and feeling like I'm in a cloud after buying this comforter. If you're on the fence and reading this review, just buy it! I washed/dried it exactly as the tag states, and it's ruined. It's no longer silky feeling and cool to the touch. I feel like I'm laying under a heater now!! It's like a completely different comforter. So upset that I wasted money on this!
