This is my second battery by Goldbat. The first one is a 5000mah 4s for a nitro conversion. Was I surprised! Awesome power and longevity of the battery and it can take a beating. This battery has lasted longer than any other 5200mah battery I have(run time). Have had it for about 4 months and it is still running strong. Haven't noticed a performance decrease. As to one of the best batteries I've got and will be buying more.

The battery seems to be pretty good ... Haven't had it long enough to know its longevity. Packs a good charge but don't like the deans plug! It fail already so I replaced it with an EC5.

delivery time to TX was 2 working days Packaging excellent box with cautionary LiPo tape on the outside of the shipping container Inside the shipping box were several shipping airbags and a sturdy cardboard box with company branding on it Bubble wrapped inside the box was Battery and heavy-duty battery strap/tiedown Battery info: 5200mah 3s lipo 11.1v nominal 57.72-watt hours battery with a soldered on deans connector and a supplied xt60 connector The main power connector cable was s supple silicone heavy gauge wire Battery cells covered in aluminum type packaging, black tape on both ends, then surrounded with heavy-duty shrink wrap with company branding and Battery info Storage voltage (from the factory) 11.4 Charging rate of 1.0 amps Beginning temp before charge: 73.1 f Ending temp after charge: 74.7 f Charging time 52minutes and 12 seconds Ending voltage 12.6 volts Approximate run time 23 min with moderate full throttle. Battery current sufficient to allow for standing still flips when full throttle applied. The Vehicle took a bad hit on a jump piss poor driving skills) and actually broke the wheel, the battery, however, was perfectly fine and it still pushed the truck along on 3 wheels. I cant wait for replacement parts to arrive so I can run it again. All in all, it faired pretty well for the 1/8 scale RC car fun time. Since I got back into rc's a year ago i have had 0 issues with these 3s. I also have there 2s and all are great. Well worth the money, very reasonable price point. Shipping was great also as always. You can save a lot of your money and the set before these are still going strong. Just do your self and charge and balance on every charge cycle it will make the battery last a lot longer. And if your charger doesn't do balance do your self a favor a get one like a B6 they are not expensive at all like $35/40. ... show more

I bought two of these Golbat 3s 5000mah lipos thinking that at least I wouldn’t be losing much money if they turn out to be complete garbage. Color me elated then, a year later, to still be using those same two batteries as the only batteries I need for my cars, trucks, and boat. I run them in my Traxxas Spartan, Summit (upgraded with a Mamba Monster esc and motor), 4-Tec VXL, and Losi SC Buggy. They are the only batteries I’ve used throughout the past year and they’ve kept on going strong. In comparison, I’ve owned 4 packs of Traxxas brand 3s 5000 lipos and non lasted more than a few runs before getting noticeably puffy. These are replacing my Venom battery packs that I purchased over a decade ago and ran great for most of that time, so if you have some extra money I also recommend those, albeit I have no experience with recent Venom batteries. ... show more

I use lipo batteries for my RC hobby, these batteries are just as good as any other name brand batteries I have used and better than others, and since they are more friendly to my wallet they are the best batteries I own. They come well packaged with additional xt60 plugs and a pair of nice looking battery straps. I will be buying more of these Goldbat lipo batteries. ... show more
