  • Strong battery
The media could not be loaded. Give extra punch on my trx4, last longer than my older 2200 battery, a bit expensive but works well with traxxas charger, it take like 3-4 hours to full charge

  • Updated Review - Good Batteries- Excellent Assistance from Vendor
One of the batteries delivered was defective. It took a while to get the issue resolved, as mentioned in my earlier review, but once I got a chance to speak to the vendor, Dollar Hobbyz, about the cost of returning the item to TRAXXAS for replacement, they resolved the matter promptly, and to my full satisfaction. The defective battery was replaced by TRAXXAS directly, and the vendor reimbursed me for the expense of shipping the item back to the manufacturer. Their customer service turned out to be first rate after all. ... show more

  • Wow what a up grade!!!!
I have a Traxxas Slash 4X4 ultimate edition that came with a Traxxas 4 series 8.4 volt 7 cell 4200 mah battery that runs the heck out of my Traxxas for a good 35-45 minutes of pretty fast and steady driving up to around 30-40 MPH before it starts to run noticeably slower and with less power. I was a bit worried to move up to and try this Traxxas 11 volt 3S Lipo Battery. So I called Traxxas and talked to one of their reps just to make sure it wouldn't destroy the Traxxas and he said as long as I keep an eye on the temperatures it should be just fine but will produce more wear on the Traxxas over time. So anyways the battery arrived, I charged it with the Traxxas 2933 EZ charger and it was charges in a little over a hour. The battery fits right in the battery compartment with no issues at all and without needing to be altered. Wholly crap!!! I thought my Traxxas was fast before! It was so fast and had so much power that it was popping wheelies and the front end was raising off the ground if I gave it too much throttle on take off. The Traxxas has to at least be doing 55+ MPH and I cant even pull the throttle all the way down, I have to ease into it and I know if I give it all the throttle the front will raise up catch wind under the body and it will do a back flip. I couldn't believe changing something as simple as a battery could have such a effect. After running the Traxxas hard for around 30 minutes I checked the temps and they didn't feel any hotter than when running the battery that came with the Traxxas and I didn't notice a lack or loss of power in the battery I have yet to run it low and the low lipo sensor didn't come on so it must have still had plenty of juice left. Although the ecu and engine heated up as usual the battery was barley even warm. I think this battery would be great for racing or showing the power of the Traxxas or R.C car but just messing around and off roading Ill stick with the battery it came with or a 2S Traxxas Lipo I bought. Those two batteries are more than enough for me till I can get my experience level up. But as for this battery if you are very experienced and like to flex your R.C muscle I highly recommend this battery. ... show more

  • Lots of Power but not perfect.
Way too long for my Rustler VXL. It seems pretty ridiculous there wouldn't be a list of vehicles this battery will fit in the listing. The dimensions were listed so it's really on me for not measuring but you'd think a company like Traxxas and a place like Amazon would be a little more straightforward. Update: After grinding out the back wall of the battery compartment under the esc it gave me just enough room to snug this thing in there and get the battery strap on. I will say it's a night and day difference from my 2s. I can't keep the front end down. I don't think I'll be using it all the time so I'll have to get some foam to keep my other batteries from rattling around but this thing is a lot of fun. Just be prepared to do some modifications on at least a couple Traxxas models for it to fit properly, you don't want these LiPo's getting damaged in any way so strapping it in really isn't an option. ... show more

  • POWER
Makes your rc car really fast. Pricey, but quality costs a little more.

  • Wow
All I can say is: wow. The difference between LiPo and NiMh is unreal. WAY more power, and from what I can tell, the LiPo gives a lot more run time than an NiMh (at least 30 mins). It's almost boring now to drive my truck with the NiMh battery. A couple of notes, based on my experience with this battery installed in a Traxxas Slash VXL: 1) If you do a lot of start/stop driving with the LiPo installed, the ESC tends to overheat (causing it to go into thermal protection mode). On the other hand, with sustained driving, the truck will go all-out for 30 mins or more with no problems. 2) Obviously you'll need a balance charger to go along with this or any other LiPo battery. ... show more

  • Bad battery
Was sold two bad rc car batteries that was completely dead, And would not take a charge only had them a couple days. Sent them back to only find out couldn't get a refund because of a couple scratches on dead batteries.. But did give me a 1 cent refund for a cover up. Bad business.
