I got the starter set with a fitted sheet and two pillow cases. I was very nervous before it arrived since it was a big investment, but I am very satisfied with it. It’s definitely cool! Superb for warm sleepers! I sometimes even sweat when I sleep in winter, but with this, I don’t really need AC at night during summer as a person lives in central PA. The sheet and the pillow cases are cool as well. It fits perfectly, and I don’t find it to be too thin because it’s what I’m looking for, but it is much thinner than regular comforters. I really hope it lasts long! And, for Chinese who are looking for summer comforter that feels like what you usually get in China, this is the one to go! ... show more

Overall I have loved this comforter so much, I bought the sheets too. I am certainly not disappointed. It is a perfect summer comforter. Some people have complained about the feel as it’s a nylon type of material but I have zero complaints. It is soft and smooth. It cools perfectly and works as advertised on both sides of the comforter. We have a dog that sheds and this comforter just wipes off. It also washes easier than any comforter I’ve ever had! The ONLY drawback that I have is that the color matches nothing in the room and there are only like two color options. Other than the color, I love it! If they had other color options, I’d buy again due to how much I like it! ... show more

Long story short, I bought this when I was dating a girl. I'm a very hot sleeper and felt like a dang baked potato throughout the night. I decided to screw it. I was going to buy this and hope that it would help us out, especially with two dogs on top. Fast forward a couple weeks. The relationship got rocky. The text response got longer. I was left to feel the coolness of this alone. Very expensive alone. When I decided what I'd be able to get by with, returning this was high up on the list. For one person and dogs, this thing is just not warm enough for me. The weight of it in your hands feels heavy but when over you is just a little too light. I needed a little bit more weight as the dogs wouldn't sleep with me all through the night in order to provide me the comfort to get through these times. I saw an advertisement for this bedding in my Facebook feed and thought I’d give it a try through Amazon. I really hate feeling hot and sweaty at night and am always looking for “better” bedding. Yes, I was totally influenced by the marketing (plus the generous return policy). I did no research and had no idea what to expect. I ended up buying both sheets and duvet, and was surprised to learn they are all stretchy, like spandex or silky soccer shorts. Silky stretchy I call it. The fabric is definitely cooling (almost cold) and extremely soft to the to the touch, but in a way that is very different than cotton or other materials like bamboo and eucalyptus (I have them all). Bottom line is that this bedding is doing a great job keeping me cool. And on cold nights, I put a Hutterite goose down blanket on top so I can still feel the silky coolness of the duvet, and still do not overheat! There is something about the fabric: it holds some heat but it’s cool to the touch at the same time, not sure how to explain. It’s amazing for both cool nights and hot nights. I can also confirm that the quality of the duvet and sheets is VERY high. No they are not inexpensive. Quality isn’t cheap. But considering all the money I spend trying to have a consistently comfortable sleep, this is a worthwhile investment and I want to have the best. Lastly, I have had no challenges with washing and keeping them clean. They wash in warm water and I dry on medium heat. The fabric dries quickly. The instructions say do not dry on high heat and that is the only thing I do different when I wash/dry compared to my other bedding. ... show more

While this product is listed as a comforter, it's also called both "Evercool" and "for Hot Sleepers," but for me, it's just a comforter. Don't get me wrong; if I could, I would make this product into a set of clothing and wear them all day, every day, and snuggle with myself like a giant teddy bear...but "ever cool" these are not. I cannot stress this enough that this comforter feels AMAZING, and I pray someone makes them into sweat pants, or snow pants, or a full bodysuit, or whatever. Kudos to the designer(s) of this product. I experimented with this product over the weekend, once with bed sheets that are cooling, and once with just the comforter. Both nights I was uncomfortably hot. We're in the "rainy" season, and It gets noticeably cooler at night, here in Hawai'i. This comforter consistently made me wake up because I'd unconsciously throw them off, just so I could put them back onto my cold bod every 30 minutes, or so, which made me a very unhappy sleeper, especially since I had headaches all weekend long from lack of REM sleep. This might be a very decent product if the temperature fell down to ~40-50F, but at 60-70F, it's WAY too hot. I'm definitely keeping this, just in case. XD ... show more
