    • Amazing difference in comfort
I have a full-face CPAP mask (Resmed F20 Air Touch), and I had been sleeping on another CPAP pillow (IKSTAR Newest Cooling Pillow) for 8 months. My face was terribly marked, and sometimes I found the mask quite painful on my cheek. I even thought I might be damaging facial nerves. So I was hoping this one would be better, and it's amazing. The edges around the cutout are firm enough to support forehead and side of head, even if I sleep on my stomach. It's easy to find a position that relieves pressure from the mask and straps while leaving everything secure. I'm already putting in more CPAP hours because I don't wake up and need to rip the mask off after a couple of hours. Yes, the straps still mark me up, but it's much less noticeable and dramatic. The only odd thing is that although there are no recorded leaks, my events per hour stat has worsened somewhat. Maybe that's because it's easy to turn onto my stomach? If this edge support holds up for a while, I'll be really happy. ... show more

If someone told me a pillow would change my life I wouldn't believe them. This pillow is perfect. I have been using it a week and have not woke up due to air leaks, and it is very comfortable. Should have purchased one of these years ago because I'm thinking about how much sleep i've lost.

    • Wish it was a little softer and seams in a different place
Lots of amazing things about this pillow but I found something about it pushes my facial straps into my jawbones/cheekbones and makes them ache. It may be the seams. Wish it was a little softer. The lower side is softest, the higher side is pretty firm. I really wanted this one to work because I do sleep better with it than with my regular water pillow. I sometimes wake feeling like I slept on it wrong and my neck feels pushed forward. Probably because it's firm. After trying this one and numerous others, I have settled on the Ikstar 3.0 that has the removable pads for different sleeping heights. It could be a little higher, but it's soft as a cloud but supportive. and doesn't cause me the issues this one does. The cut outs in the pillow for the mask to rest over are in the perfect spot for me - so many pillows the cutouts are too high and must think all people have super long necks. I look forward to using this pillow and it fits my silk pillow cases. ... show more

After months and months of horrible experiences with my BIPAP machine, I was sick and tired of even trying to make it work, despite my serious CNS apnea. I knew that the lack of oxygen and quality sleep caused all sorts of dangerous effects, including falling asleep while driving. Even though I’d changed out 3 mask types, tightened the straps so much that I’d get terrible headaches, adjust my bed so I could sit up all night, nothing helped. I was ready to throw in the towel, even if it meant my insurance would no longer contribute to the cost of my equipment. I was depressed and feeling worse with each passing day. I’m a side-sleeper, so that brings its own set of issues: facial pain from shifting (and continually tightening the straps) of masks, lack of oxygen, loud “burping” noises, whistling and choking sounds that not only kept my partner and me awake, they also scared the dog - scared to the point where he would climb the bed and stand on top of my spouse. We were resigned to having a super high-strung dog. It wasn’t until I was awakened by my awful Exorcist-like sounds and saw my dog react within seconds that I figured out the cause of his fearfulness. All the anti-depressants, anti-anxiety, ThunderShirts and CBD products we’d been giving him had been a waste. I’d been scheduled for yet another appointment with my pulmonologist and had already ordered a third type of mask. However....Last night was the first night I tried out the Lunderg CPAP Pillow for Side Sleepers. The softness of the cover was sublime, the pillow’s loft was perfect, and the differently sized cutouts were absolutely genius!!! This is the first time in years that I’d slept through most of the night. I got up this morning feeling refreshed and without the headaches and sluggishness I typically experience. I just bawled like a baby. I’m thrilled, relieved and thankful for the creators of this Lundberg CPAP Pillow for Side Sleepers. I’d become the poster-child for this product if they’d allow me to. I’m so, so grateful. Regardless of what you’ve tried and failed with before, take just one more chance to give this product a try. I’m convinced this pillow is the your best chance to finally be successful & gain the health benefits that your CPAP or BIPAP machines are designed to give you. Don’t despair; just try it.     • No mask leak improvement
Comfort OK after removing the extra foam, otherwise the pillow is too thick. Full thickness results in extreme neck angle. YMMV. For me, there is no difference in mask leakage between this and conventional pillow. My goal in purchasing this mask was to reduce mask leaks but this pillow disappoints. Mask leakage is more likely a function of mask fit, which changes overnight. Cost/benefit ratio not worth the money. ... show more

    • Incredible product!!!
I started using a CPAP machine a week ago, and could never get comfortable with the mask. This pillow was the missing piece, and it allowed me the first 8 hour sleep with the CPAP machine that I’ve had so far. The first night that I was able to truly feel and appreciate the benefits of CPAP therapy, and it is all thanks to this pillow. I seriously could not recommend this pillow more. ... show more

Love this pillow! It has helped with the nightly fight with the mask and cpap machine, but more importantly, the severe pain in my neck!
