I have been sitting in a Staples Kroy office chair for years. I never had the lumbar support I needed, even though the chair was an improvement over my previous Staples chair. The reason I purchased the Lumbar Support Pillow was my five hour car trip to and from Vermont last week. I became so uncomfortable I had to stop at every rest area on I-87 to get out and walk around. My 2004 Subaru Forester XT has limited seat adjustment. When I got home, I checked Amazon, and found this support pillow. I figured I could use it for both my computer (office) chair and in my car (2004 Subaru Forester XT). I received the cushion a few minutes ago. I immediately unwrapped it and let it expand. I didn't air it out as instructed because I have no issues with the smell. I don't smell anything objectionable from this pillow. I extended the straps, and strapped it to my Kroy office chair with the cushion positioned for lumbar support. When I sat down, it was like I was in heaven! The cushion supports my lower back - just as I had hoped it would - and is very comfortable. I can only hope that it doesn't lose its form or become squished after a week or so. I will update my 5-star review if necessary, but for now, I am a happy gamer and coder! ... show more

I have terrible lower back propane this pillow is amazing! I use it in my car during the day since I drive a lot. Then I bring it in and use it on my couch during the evening. My back feels so good. The pillow is very firm and positions just right.

The main product itself is good. However, the shoulder straps are too short. I have been unable to find straps anywhere that would serve as extensions, and they appear to have made no provisions for this problem.
