I've been having lower back pain for a few years, some times are worse than others. I hoping this would give more support than a rolled up towel I had been using. I like the cooling gel and the support the pillow gives, but it is less comfortable lying on your side than on your back. While the pillow itself is in a case, the case has the gel built it so you can't wash it easily. Overall, it's a nice back pillow and is well-made, but I don't think it does a better job than the rolled up towel (my back is still a little sore when I wake up in the mornings with both options). ... show more
