These pillows aren’t super soft but they’re not super firm either. I would say it’s about medium but leaning towards the softer side. But I’m more use to using firmer pillows. It seems to hold its shape well and has a good thickness. They come vacuum packed and super flat but waiting just a few minutes will have it expand nicely. No obnoxious smell. It comes with two different “sides”, one side advertised as a cooling side. Honestly I didn’t really test it long but it did feel slightly cooler. But I’m sure most people are going to use a pillowcase on it so you’re head won’t be on direct contact with the special side anyway. I’m actually using this more as a body pillow. As a side sleeper, I need a pillow I can kind of wrap my arm around and hug to feel comfortable. This pillow works great for that. Perfect firmness in that regard and good thickness. ... show more

I’m not going to lie I really thought I was going to hate this pillow. I only bought it because I needed a pillow quickly and I didn’t have a lot of money. My old pillow was killing my neck. I finally realized that it was the cause of my neck pain and I needed a new pillow. So I found this shredded memory foam pillow on sale for $20 bucks. I thought “great” this is perfect for now. It will get me through until I can afford a better one. Well, after adjusting it to how I like it, I slept through the night for the first time in years. I didn’t wake up with any neck pain at all. I am 39 years old, I suffer from scoliosis and most days I was waking up feeling like I was 80 years old. This pillow makes me wake up and feel like I’m a kid again. I’m actually going to purchase another one for my kid. I am super happy with this pillow. I mean it’s really nice for the price and it’s very comparable to the more expensive ones. Alright. Hear me out on this. I’ve spent way more money on less of a pillow. These r fine pillows for the price. U ain’t going to find this type at Walmart or target. Get this pillow. Grab two. Also read the instructions. I think u supposed to fluff them in the dryer when u get them…. I don’t read instructions. That why I have a wife. lol. No I didn’t get paid to give this review. Though they r welcome to send me a pillow as a nice gesture. … but yeah. I got $100 pillows that I love that compare to these. Buy them. ... show more

So far so good - gave them a few hours to puff up before trying them for the night. Both of us felt they were a bit too high, so we removed a bunch of the stuffing and now they’re perfect. They have the right amount of firm and the right amount of squish - I’m a side sleeper, and I hate when other pillows like down or polyfil kind of end up enveloping my face when I’m lying on my side. This keeps my head nestled but face clear. Only giving it 4 stars for now because I’ve had better pillows… and I want to wait and see what a few weeks’ sleep on this pillow does. ... show more
