The media could not be loaded. Works very well for cutting vinyl and the design space is top notch. The print then cut feature is a good size but can be a little confusing to figure out. However I sent an IM to the company and they were very helpful. It does not work with png files though.

    • The software ruins the whole equipment

The equipment functions great, it's well built, sturdy, cuts well, so why the worst possible rating? THE SOFTWARE. It's nuclear dumpster fire bad. You have to TYPE (auto complete is disabled even) your email and password every time (no remember me option even) of an account you're obligated to create on their poorly translated system. Once in, every edit, even if as simple as it possibly could be, is PAINFUL and bug-ridden. it sometimes just doesn't import, it pastes objects out of the workspace, the cutting job screen makes no sense, there's not a single thing salvageable from that software, the help documentation is worthless, I could be going about it all day. IF you're very patient, know your way around software troubleshooting, have used cutting software/equipment before, and you're getting a great deal on the price, you may try it. If you're not tech savvy, you're just going to stress out with this thing. It's return the whole thing just because of the software bad. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was a doozie. At first, I was really unsure about buying this Machine after reading some of the bad reviews. But honestly, it just takes a bit of trial and error, and following a few key steps to get it working perfectly 1. Expect to mess up a few times. It’s part of the process, so don’t let it get you down. 2. Reading the Instructions. Seriously, take the time to read the manual. It has some great tips that make everything so much easier. 3. Firmware Update!!!!This is a game-changer. Make sure you update the firmware before you start working on your real project. It fixes a lot of the issues people are complaining about, mine updated from v.07 to v10 4. After updating it, calibrate the machine!. Super important for alignment and to get everything working like how it should. After following these steps, I absolutely love my Loklik Sticker Machine! It’s actually better than the Cricut in my opinion. It takes time to set up but completely worth it. ... show more

One of my favorite so far! It's nice and quiet and runs smoothly. It comes with extra blade and a pen which is a plus!! The program will take some time to getting used to if you have used other brands before, but not to say it's an easy learning curve. Once you get the program, easy peasy. I've used this machine for simple and harder designs on dollar tree vinyl and brand name vinyl and it cuts with no problem. ... show more

    • Nice Concept, Has Potential, but too new, not much support, too many bugs with software/firmware

The machine has potential, it did cut, the software could use some major upgrading, but I could work around that if needed, the biggest issue I Had with it was I was never able to update the firmware or get it calibrated correctly. I followed the instructions to the T and even tried the "flash" version to flash the firmware update, however that would not work either. To update anything you have to plug a cord from the machine to the computer, but even though the software recognized my loklik and my pc, the firmware would just never update no matter what I tried. I sent my first one back, got a second hoping it was just an issue with the first machine, however the same issues with my second, so I am returning it sadly. I really hoped this would work for me, but unfortunately, it didn't. The machine has potential as I stated, and I believe in time, when the bugs are worked out and there is more support available, this might be a great machine at an affordable price. For me right now though, I found a used Cricut maker and purchased that, so for now, all good. The rest of the transaction, shipping, returning etc, was five star, I just can't rate this cutter a five. ... show more

    • Calibration is a nightmare

My new vinyl cutting machine was delivered today, and I was so excited to get it set up and start cutting vinyl patches for t-shirts I want to make. However, I can't get past the calibration. Mind you, I'm not even sure I need the print and cut function for what I'm wanting to do anyway so I could just be wasting my paper and toner. Let me explain my frustration. First, no matter what options I chose when printing from my computer, the bottom part of the calibration chart was always off the page. I tried about 15 different times with the same result. I finally got around that by printing from my phone. If I used the Brother printer service, the calibration would fail and I'd get a message that the machine failed to read the cut lines. It would do the cutting process if I used the Samsung printing software, but not even a single line overlapped. So I feel like all I achieved was wasting paper and toner and causing frustration. I'm not even sure I need to do the print and cut calibration for cutting vinyl anyway. ... show more

So happy to have finally found an easy to use vinyl cutter! The program that you use with it takes a bit of adjusting to but that’s because I’m just not used to the program. The machine is quiet and actually cuts where it needs to. I am excited to do more projects with it!
