  • A very nice cutting maching. Love it.
Style: Explore 3
What a wonderful machine. I bought it "used like new". Cosmetically it's nearly perfect. Fine point blade came sharp. It came in the original box, but only had the power brick and usb cable, nothing else with it. Setup was easy, basically plug and play. Though I had a little trouble getting it connected to Windows 10 via usb. Be aware that it takes several seconds to connect when making cuts. Also, if you have connection time outs like I did, reboot your computer, and that will likely help. Also try a different usb port if possible. Mine came in the minty green, and it's very nice looking. It's fairly quiet, though it does make a bit of noise... almost the same or a little louder than a typical inkjet printer. Mine makes a small beep sound every time it lifts the blade and repositions it. A little annoying, but not terrible. Design space, which has to be used in order use this machine, is not amazing, but isn't terrible either. It does some strange things, and makes you do some strange things in order to get what you want. Print then cut can be pretty annoying; you have to have layers for print, and layers for cut. Then you have to flatten everything. Youtube is your friend. Worst design space flaw is that you can lay out the canvas in the perfect order, but when you hit 'make', it rearranges everything, and moves it from where you had it. You can bypass this, mostly, by attaching, or grouping everything before you cut, but it can be annoying. Overall a great machine, and really fun to make all sorts of artsy fartsy projects! ... show more

  • Good product

Accurate, well made (durable) and pleasing appearance. Support is sometimes starting to show slow degradation though. Still the product is a great value in my opinion.

  • Game Changer
Style: Explore 3
I recently purchased the Cricut Explore 3, and I am absolutely thrilled with my experience. This cutting machine has exceeded my expectations in every way, making it a fantastic addition to my crafting arsenal. First and foremost, the Cricut Explore 3's cutting precision is outstanding. It effortlessly handles a variety of materials, from paper and vinyl to fabric and even thicker materials like leather. The versatility it offers ensures that I can tackle a wide range of projects with ease. The wireless connectivity and compatibility with Design Space have streamlined my creative process. I love the convenience of being able to design on my computer or tablet and seamlessly transfer my projects to the Cricut Explore 3. The machine's intuitive interface makes it user-friendly, even for those new to crafting technology. One of the standout features for me is the Fast Mode, which significantly reduces cutting time without compromising on quality. This has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to complete projects more efficiently without sacrificing the precision and detail that I expect. The Smart Set Dial simplifies the material selection process, taking the guesswork out of finding the right settings for different materials. It's a small detail, but it adds to the overall user-friendly design of the machine. The Cricut Explore 3 has opened up a world of creative possibilities for me, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a beginner looking to explore the world of DIY projects, I highly recommend the Cricut Explore 3 for its reliability, precision, and ease of use. ... show more

  • Overhyped piece of garbage.
Style: Explore 3
I've never owned a vinyl cutter before. So this is my first one. You'd think as a first time, I'd be more lenient on it since I have nothing to compare to. Nope. Here are the problems I have with this trash. 1. Windows connection problems. All day. Every day. Bluetooth fails to connect on my windows laptop. Connects for 2 seconds, then disconnects. Cannot reconnect. Have to delete and re-add device. After 10 tries, still won't stay connected. 2. Mac connection problems. Bluetooth connects to mac for about 10 seconds and the disconnects. OMG! 10 seconds! Better than the 2 seconds on a Windows device! Still can't reconnect. Have to delete and re-add device. After 3 attempts, it finally stays connected for no reason. No process was changed in that connection. 3. USB connection. A USB does not need "connection" other than physically plugging the cable in. Somehow the software has it spinning and waiting for the "connection" to the device. And somehow even after a few seconds of waiting, it fails to "connect". I'm sitting there stupidly unplugging and replugging USB cable. Oh, and the software keeps bugging me to switch to bluetooth and defaults to the bluetooth option while in the Make prompts. I would if bluetooth worked... 4. Calibration just doesn't work on Windows. After I load the printed calibration placed on the mat and I can see it get loaded by the cricut, that's it. Nothing happens after that. Wizard doesn't change, play button on cricut doesn't light up. Finally worked when it connects to a Mac 5. Looked up all these connection problems and you are told to remove all other bluetooth devices paired with your computer because it needs to be the only device in the paired devices list. This is not a solution. Asking us to disconnect all bluetooth devices is absurd. I've only just read about all the reddit discussions of people getting their devices bricked and Cricut support staff blatantly saying they will deactivate the device if they try to sell it. This is unacceptable. There are countless stories of people getting their devices bricked for simply just loaning to a friend. All of this R&D went into security just so they can force people to buy new devices from them but I CAN'T EVEN GET THE CONNECTION TO WORK. This is absolutely not how you make a product or run a business. Company is scum. ... show more
