There are so many crafts and projects you can do with this thing. The paid subscription for additional images and discounts on products is totally worth it. I saved more on my first couple orders of supplies than the monthly subscription costs. I'm still learning, but I've done heat transfer, regular vinyl, stickers, cards, and engraving and it's all been easy enough to figure out with basic video tutorials. Wife loves her cricket! I'll knock a star down for how this thing actually feeds material (just like a printer) but requires clearance space on both sides that may or may noy significantly affect your plans on where to put it down. If this is all you have on a desk in an area and has space, and you're good with leaving it in the middle of that desk you're good...but if you have a built a functional space and still need that space then you'll be moving this thing around before and after using it. ... show more
