There are so many crafts and projects you can do with this thing. The paid subscription for additional images and discounts on products is totally worth it. I saved more on my first couple orders of supplies than the monthly subscription costs. I'm still learning, but I've done heat transfer, regular vinyl, stickers, cards, and engraving and it's all been easy enough to figure out with basic video tutorials. Wow this machine is amazing! I’m a “dance team mom” but not a regular dance team mom, I’m a cool dance team mom! Hahaha - movie quotes aside… In my mom duties I had to make locker posters for the whole team. I’m new to this and had no clue how to do that! So I bought this machine and I learned what I needed to make some cardstock letters and team spirit cutouts in 24 hours, watched a few videos and tada!!! It was fun and I’m excited to try more things! I’m sure I’ll have more mom duties where this will come in handy. Wife loves her cricket! I'll knock a star down for how this thing actually feeds material (just like a printer) but requires clearance space on both sides that may or may noy significantly affect your plans on where to put it down. If this is all you have on a desk in an area and has space, and you're good with leaving it in the middle of that desk you're good...but if you have a built a functional space and still need that space then you'll be moving this thing around before and after using it. ... show more

I ordered the Cricut Maker 3 for $399 and I couldn’t get it to turn on. I’m assuming the switch is broken. I’ve talked to Amazon who will let me return the machine but I have to take it to a UPS store. The closest UPS store is 60 miles away. I also called Crafty Corner and left several messages but no one will call me back. I just wanted to exchange the machine because it took me forever to save the money in order to buy it on sale. I’m very disappointed in Crafty Corner for not calling me back. So anyone reading this BUYER BEWARE! ... show more
