It works as it should; having the cables retract is a bonus. Pulling with the slightest ease without resistance (Flat Design). Type C and Lightning cable. Additional ports for USB and type C 3A. Can turbocharge depending on the phone/tablet. (newer Android/iPhone models ), which is highly impressive. Most of these car chargers don't have this capability. Con: bulky ergonomically. The design is to hold the cables and add additional charging. The cables themselves are flimsy ( designed for the capability to retract and be stored inside of components). Use caution when pulling overtime they might give because of a lack of protection around the cables. Minimal lighting LED indicating that it's properly plugged in, just to look at it closely to see if it's even illuminated ( Small blue LED) Right around the 2A port Improvement: reinforce the cables, and cover them with a second layer of protection. A Brighter indication light makes it more visibly seen, possibly dimmable ( color changing is optional) Either a larger diode or the face has a perimeter lighting within the body. Add an internal charger, to store the charge ( secondary cell) for when the vehicle is off. For new vehicles/Most vehicles, the cigarette lighter charge port turns off when the vehicles are in the off position. Having an additional source of energy would be greatly useful when someone steps out of the vehicle just to run into the store for a few minutes. ( This will probably increase the bulkiness, but it wouldn't hurt either, make it longer, not wider. I love love this charger. The two cords on the left retract and the two on the right are stable. Four phones can be charged at a time which made it convenient on our road trip. Everyone was able to charge their phones at the same. The two retracting cords reached the back.
