  • GREAT BUY!
I am very pleased with this purchase. It's not heavy and small enough to put in the small pouch of your backpack. It can be charged either by solar or using an outlet. Both ways work very well. Very strong battery and lasts a long time. I love how it has several solar panels to charge the battery quicker in the sun. I highly recommend this product! ... show more
Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2024 by I am very pleased with this purchase. Definitely worth the money. I love that it runs on a lithium rechargeable battery. It's very compact so you can fit it right in your toiletry bag on trips. The motor on it is great and does the job well. The battery lasts a long time too. Great buy. I highly recommend it. • 5 Star long term review
We bought this backup in August 2022. We charged it, threw it in our camper and forgot about it. This week, due to a set of irrelevant circumstances, we needed it. I pulled it out, it was still fully charged and worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this battery backup!

  • Power from nowhere
Short and sweet. I'm ok with the product because when using the sun to charge, it charges quickly compared to everything else. My only issue is it charges my phone (S10+) slowly if I'm using the phone. I'm still pleased with the unit overall.

  • Long Term Use - Honest Review
I have owned this batter back for a couple of years. I do lots of truck and tent camping all year around and use it constantly. I have nothing but good things to say about it so far. Even though its thicker than others it is compact, easy to use and last a long time. I have it to power fans, lights in my tent or truck while charging my phone and it works like a champ. I have used to solor charging on it and it works pretty good but I normally charge it overnight before a camp so I really dont need "in the field" charging but it is a nice option to have. I have also used it several times in power outages to power lights and charge phones. It has never failed me, it hold a charge for a long time and for the money, I consider it a great buy. ... show more

  • Ill be damned, it actually charges under sun power. 20 days total use Kayak Camping
At first, I doubted this battery was 38k mah and doubted it would charge in the field. I was wrong. While I don't know if its actually 38k it does work pretty darn well. I have used this total of 15 days of kayak camping. I was able to keep my devices ( phone and nicotine device) fully charged for 5 nights 6 days on 3 different trips now. It actually tops itself off during the day hanging off the back of my kayak. For $40.00 I am pretty impressed. I watch movies on my phone to fall asleep, or on rainy days... which drains a lot of battery. I hope it lasts......so far so good on this. Its heavy for backpacking. I did have to make a hanging loop out of SS wire .041" thick. I use a carabiner with the loop I made. One of the trips we had broken sun with a lot of clouds and I still got through it. Test it yourself for your needs obviously. ... show more

  • Scam listing, do not buy
First of all, the listing is lying about the capacity. I tested the capacity using a usb passthru analyzer. After receiving the item, i fully charged it, and then fully discharged it, and then charged it again through the tester, measuring how much power it takes to fully charge. The result the battery has a peak theoretical capacity of 13500mAh (The actual capacity will be less because the battery does not have perfect charge.discharge efficiency). This is barely 1/3 the capacity shown in the listing. Second of all, the flashlight continues to work even when the unit is so discharged that it refuses to power the usb ports. This is probably an overdischarge risk. Third of all, I see in the reviews that having the battery swell after charging it using the solar panel is a common problem. There's tons of photos. That's how my last one died. That indicates to me they're just trying to dump old inventory by any means possible, without any solutions to years old problems. This one is on the charge protection. I don't know if it's over temp, over voltage, or just dumbly over charging, but something is obviously wrong. Fourth and finally, this device has obvious design issues. - you can't use the wireless charging without covering one of the solar panels. Come on., Just put the qi charger on the back. - the unit only charges with 10W (5V, 2A) basic usb charging. A 38800mAh battery would take 19 hours to charge at this rate.Come onnnnnn, spend the extra $0.58 and use a usb controller that can do power delivery. While you're at it, support 18w or even 45w USB-PD/USB-PPS for output. "#1 in swimming pool heaters and #1 in 3 point accessories" okay, suuure The product is junk. The listing is lies. If you want to buy something the seller is proud of, look for something that isn't sold by a randomly generated brand name and wasn't obviously co-opted from another listing. ... show more

  • Goes to sleep while charging my earbuds
It has been working fairly well, but I noticed that it goes to sleep while charging my earbuds. I suppose that their draw when charging is not enough to keep the battery pack from falling asleep.
