I really like this topper, but it only partially helps my back pain. I got the 3" one to put on top of my foam mattress that is a little too stiff. It is comfortable and did help my back pain, but isn't as soft as I was hoping. Also, the straps that go on the corners to hold it in place don't work well. The material on the bottom of the topper does a pretty good job of keeping the topper position from shifting, so it isn't really an issue. ... show more

Cool, soft, feels like I’m sleeping on a cool soft floating surface. I looked at over 15 different ones, narrowed it down to five, ordered two, and this one was the best choice ever. I’m telling you I’ve overslept probably 6/7 times since I’ve gotten it. Literally no complaints at all. Get one!!!

Good soft foam and cover but you bottom out so it's not effective. I took the logical next step and got the 3" foam but it is completely different; too firm and HOT! The Viscosoft 3" works being soft-medium with no bottoming out and sufficient gel so it's not hot. More money but worth it. The Viscosoft weighs 32# vs 15# for most. Foam weight generally implies better quality and product life. It is important to know that the weight of a foam does NOT correlate with firmness. ... show more
