The bags are very heavy duty material but if you hold it up you can see feint light so very porous as well. the 200g bags full are about 26 inches tall and 4.5 foot circle. filling the bags takes almost 1 cubic yard of soil or do what i did and layer materials like sticks logs wood chips hay and other materials that will breakdown over time in the bottom 2/3 of the bag and the top 1/3 use a premium grow mix. dont be fooled by the handles though once these are filled and watered with soil your looking at almost 1 ton and you wont be a ble to move it. positioning it with the handles when its 1/3 full though is very viable to get the bag in just the right spot. also a nifty trick since thes bags are durable you can fold the top down to the desired height along the sides to give you a 13in deep growbag that is 4.5 ft circumference. ... show more
