When the pillows arrived I was concerned because they were so flat. I followed the instructions and fluffed them up and let them sit overnight. They became very fluffy and I was comfortable on the one I am using the first night. I don't like foam pillows but the shredded foam seems to be the answer for me. They are alttile small for a king sized pillowcase but they are super comfortable and don't smell. If you are looking for a low budget king sized pillow set, this is for you! It's cooling and washable. I go to sleep alot faster than my other pillow and it doesn't hurt my neck. Let me point out that what one may like or dislike in a pillow varies greatly between individuals i.e. there is no accounting for taste. I found these pillows to be too thick, too firm, and over stuffed. Fortunately, there is a fix for that, just remove 2/3 of the filling and put it in a different case. Unfortunately these pillows do not have a zipper that allows you to do that without destroying the case. It hurt my feelings to cut the case open because it is nicely made, but I had no choice. The contents are giblets of memory foam about as big as the end of your finger and the transfer of 2/3 of it to a zippered case I bought on Amazon was easy. Perfect! I love Linenspa pillows; I brought one of my king sized enclosed memory foam pillows by linenspa for my dad to use until the pillows I was ordering would arrive. I thought the loaned pillow was the same as what I thought I was ordering when I purchased this set. They arrived much quicker than I thought so that was a very pleasant surprise & I opened them as soon as possible and put them on the bed so they could start to fluff up. They apparently weren’t fully inflated the night they first got here so my dad did not sleep on them and used my encased foam pillow. Both parents slept on them last night and asked me tonight if it was just going to take a long time for the pillows to get hard because these are so soft you sink down into them and can feel the foam chunks move which was the opposite of what my aging parents needed, especially someone recovering from an intense surgery. I was very confused because you can’t feel the foam chunks in the other pillows that I have from linenspa. After a very frustrating amount of research I was able to find out that these two pack pillows are very different than the individually sold pillows and if you are looking for a hard firm pillow that has a little movement but doesn’t really spread out or sink down you do not want to buy this two pack. If you want a squishy, mold-to-the-right-shape comfort pillow this set of pillows is for you. This two pack of pillows was not suitable for people that sleep on their backs and sides. The other “hard” pillows so to speak are fantastic for back sleeping, side sleeping, and sleeping on your stomach. I highly doubt the company reads these reviews but on the off chance that they do, please please please make it more clear there is a difference between your pillows at the very top of the product details. It was only as I scrolled down to read the reviews to see if I was losing my mind at the difference in the pillows that I saw the three pillow comparison. Of course these pillows have been used and were ordered by my mistake so I’m not going to return them; fortunately they will be put in the linen closet for guests and the right pillows have been ordered because of how good quality the pillows that I actually wanted are. Took them out of the plastic bag, enrolled them, & began shaking & shaping them. They are Marvelous! Once fluffed, they fit into the pillowcases & used the first night. These are smaller than a standard queen size pillow. They also need to be fluffed right out of the box. They have like a sticky foam in them that needs to be pulled apart.
