I feel like I've been like Goldilocks in my search for the perfect pillow - I didn't want something that was going to go pancake flat in the middle of the night. I wanted it to be soft and not sound crunchy when I was lying on it. I wanted to support a more local business. That said, this pillow fits the bill on all accounts. The firm is indeed firm but it cradles your head nicely. You can tell that it's very well made and it feels special to open the box. I Immediately put a pillow protector on mine and tried it out for a few weeks. What I noticed was that I had to keep flipping it over in the middle of the night because it became uncomfortable, for me. I was waking up multiple times in the night with my arm asleep - this hadn't happened to me in YEARS. My neck issues seemed to get worse over the couple of weeks that I used this. So I very reluctantly made the decision to return it. That said, if you are looking for a pillow that meets all of the requirements I listed above, and has what I consider to be a very reasonable price point, I would 1000% recommend this particular pillow from this particular company. This is the best pillow I have experienced. I purchased soft but should have purchased medium. I found the Lincove pillow after I returned a Costco down and Puredown pillows because they were too firm (mostly feathers and very little down) and didn't breathe. This is a top quality pillow with real down filling in it. Its very comfortable and supports my head and neck perfectly. Both my wife and I ordered a king in the full fill variety. My wife said she needs less fill so I called the customer service number and after speaking to Sarah they sent her a new pillow at no charge! Great customer service is hard to find...but you will get it here. I am a side sleeper so the full fill seems right for me but time will tell...if your a back or stomach sleeper you might want to try the medium fill. ... show more

This is the most luxurious pillow I have ever had. Dreamy, heavenly, soft and so very comfortable! Totally worth the extra cost. All down, no feather stems to poke you in the face. It doesn’t go flat, it’s not hard to mold it how I like, doesn’t get sweaty if it’s a warm night, I got medium fill and it’s perfect, I am a side sleeper. I had a few pieces of down pieces (not many) escape from inside the pillow to my sheets and when I talked to Sarah in Lincove customer service about if that was normal, she said yes and to make sure I was totally satisfied with my purchase, without me even asking, she sent me another brand new pillow ($189) !! Sarah was so wonderful and professional, she just wanted me to feel so satisfied with my purchase. She went above and beyond! Thank you Lincove, (and Sarah)!! I cannot sleep with a big pillow. I cannot understand why every hotel, B&B, and VRBO thinks people want/need giant super overstuffed pillows. It does nothing but hold your head at an unnatural angle. That being said, this pillow (I ordered the soft down pillow) is still too stuffed to compress enough for my taste. I have a giant noggin so it should flatten out easily. But it doesn't. Honestly if there were a way to remove 1/3 of the stuffing, it would be fantastic! It is a good quality pillow and feels soft. Faint scent to it, but I think that wil fade, or can easily be covered with a spritz of lavender or something. I will probably keep it and try to "break it in" for a while. But I will likely keep searching for a truly flat soft pillow. ... show more

I ordered the soft based on being a stomach sleeper, but because I also sleep on my side it turns out that it was a little too soft. I tried it for about 2 weeks then contacted the manufacturer. They were AMAZING!! I have always believed in buying the best I can afford, and I have spent more for pillows in the past, but never, ever have I had this kind of service. This is what customer service used to be in the “old” days. They sent me a medium at no cost. I’m telling you, another company I previously bought a pillow from, spent 2.5x more, I had to send the pillow back at my expense, pay for an adjustment, it still wasn’t right, I ended up not using the pillow because it would’ve cost too much to get it right. This company, has my business FOR LIFE! I will never buy a pillow from anyone else. Their protector covers are also amazing and so incredibly reasonably priced. I’ve bought 4 just because they’re so wonderful and I want them on all my pillows. If you’re considering a pillow from this company, just do it, you will not regret it.
