  • Great quality, difficult assembly
Style: Hoop
Very happy with this purchase, the height and quality is great. It definitely takes two adults to put together, it wasn’t very easy. I did appreciate that the instructions came with YouTube follow along videos- that helped. We couldn’t get the sand in the base though, even using different sized funnels, so we ended up filling the base with water and then placing sand bags on top of the base. I love the overall look of it though, and I’m happy I went with this one. ... show more

  • Good basketball hoop
Style: Hoop
Good basketball hoop for 7 and up. Takes two persons to assemble. Much easier to assemble with impact wrench.

  • Listen to other reviewers, go buy the extra bolt!
Style: Hoop
Just as the title says, I seen other reviewers state that the accompanying long bolt is just shy of the length that it needs to come out the other side in order to screw in the nut. I figured those reviews were a bit old, maybe the company fixed the issue. They did not. I did not purchase the bolt, but did find a work around, though probably not recommended for the long run. I used my hammer to slightly bend the metal on either side of the pole in order to make the diameter a bit smaller. Use caution if you do this, as you could warp the holes the screw goes through, and not end up being able to put the screw in at all. So only do that of you are sure you won't warp those holes! The goal is good and sturdy. It seems like it will last a long while, as long as no one is slamming and hanging on the rim. The backboard seems a bit light and thin, but I think that is intentional. Only other negative thing I can say about this is in regards to the wheels on the base. They do not work really well. It often sounds like I'm just pushing the base around without wheels on my concrete. Lots of resistance. I tipped it over and tried to manually spin the wheels with my fingers, and they do not spin well at all. They did work before I added the water beads to it, so I'm guessing the weight bogs it down and it does not work as intended. This may be bad for long term use as the friction may cause holes in the base container. ... show more

  • Fun for the whole family🏀🏀🏀
Style: Hoop
Good value for your money. Not the easiest to assemble. We put sand in ours and it still not as sturdy as we’d like, but a brick or weighted bucket on the back does the trick. Height adjustable just as described. Overall good product!! We’ve enjoyed it. Recommend!!

  • Great net great price
Style: Hoop
Great basketball net and with the money. The instructions weren’t great but doable. Only need two for holding the pole to attach to the base. Love how big the net is and backboard. Great product very happy with purchase! Definitely recommend.

  • Great product
Style: Hoop
I needed a full height goal for my teen son to practice. We got this as a Christmas gift for him because we needed something mobile. READ THE DIRECTIONS. There are 2 poles that MUST go in a specific manner and if you put it together wrong, it's hard to fix. As a matter of fact, my husband, his friend, and my son turned a bad situation to worse (involving ratchet straps, my car, and a tree), so we had to call the company for new poles. They were incredibly responsive and had new poles and hardware to us in less than a week. Awesome basketball goal! Lifetime provides great products that they stand behind! Will absolutely shop their products again. ... show more

  • Amazing value
Style: Hoop
Got this thing pre owned and it might be the best value I've gotten on Amazon ever! So incredibly satisfied. Assembly is hard but I put it together alone within 4 hours...and I don't consider myself handy in the least. Very sturdy for the price.

  • Several hour assembly; parts missing; wrong size bolts; bent backboard
Style: Hoop
Plastic bottom edge pieces missing. Very flimsy performance; dead rim action; dead backboard action. Instructions dont clearly point out that the top pole must be installed through the bottom side of the MIDDLE pole before the middle pole is pounded together with the bottom pole, as per instructions. I then had to pry off the middle pole from the bottom, causing damage to the pole edge. Then, there is the curved backboard, or otherwise a backboard that tilts back about 1-2 inches at the top. I now have to try to see if perhaps I can install some shims to the backboard support poles, or drill new holes where the top part of the rim attaches to the pole. This might be the most poorly made, parts needed but not included in the box; poor design with the bent or curved backboard. Update: I had 10 washers left over, so I used them as spacers on the top side of the backboard braces. I still need to get the correct length bolt for the center bolt, or cut off the all thread that I have currently installed. ... show more
