This was a long due review but I'd still like to leave a positive feedback regarding this basketball hoop. I purchased it during the Covid19 and hope to add some fun to my home office (but not going too much budgets). I'd say this basketball hoop far exceed my expectation. First of all, it's sturdy and easy to install on the door. I played it quite a lot but so far it didn't show any sign of breakage. Second, it give an accurate score thanks to the good sensor equipped. This is important for gathering event as my and friends can enjoy friendly competition. My 16 yr old NBA hopeful, (as most kids are) loves this. When he's on house arrest for some adolescent infraction and cannot get to gym to practice he has the perfect fall back with this easy to install and decent quality hoop. It can be annoying noise wise because the basket vibrates when hit and counter speakers are LOUD!!! We put a blanket over door and under base to quiet the rattling noise, tape over speaker to dull the ear piercing sound effects, and pillows on floor to silence the thud of ball hitting the floor. Those adaptations solved the disturbance to others issue for us. The smile of appreciation from my often scowly son is reward enough for me. Who knows? Maybe he'll make the NBA!! if you see a player interview in a few years where props to mom for the bedroom basketball hoop are given, it might be my kid!! ... show more

This item is pretty well made, and bears the old school cheap basketball hoops with foam balls. This set is made from a plexiglass backboard, and actual steel rim. The 3 balls that are included are made from a soft inflatable rubber, and the set even includes a cheap, but useful pump. They are not loud when bouncing, but they still have some weight to be able to handle and throw with accuracy. My 4 year old loves this for his room. The electronic scorekeeper is pretty accurate as well. Only issue I had was that the hoop is designed to fit over the door. My door would not shut with it on, so I had to modify and attach the backboard to the door using screws and anchors. Not a big deal, but would be nice if it had alternative mounting options like some other kits have. ... show more

This indoor basketball hoop is easy to put together. I like that you can hang it on a door and remove it when done using it, since it just hangs over the top of the door. It is fun to use for any age. I like that you do not have to use the electronic scorer and sound if you do not want to. The electronic scorer and sound is great for young people, but I like to turn if off (has switch to do this) when I am using it by myself. The balls bounce so you can also use the balls by themselves also. Great product. ... show more

I am really impressed with the sturdiness of this basketball hoop. The shock pads really balance it out great. I plan on setting this up in my teenage son’s room so he can make some baskets to occupy his time! Me and the hubby gave it a try and had a couple good laughs! I will have to say that if you are looking for this to give you an accurate score then you will be disappointed since when it spins across the ring and doesn’t go completely in, it still captures the point. But, if you are looking for a nice sturdy single basketball interactive hoop, this works fabulous! It comes with three basketballs too! ... show more

I’m actually doing Stevie Wonder a disservice so the title of my review should be re-written to, “Even a blind man could drill a better hole.” The pre-drilled holes on the backboard are off. Way off. The description doesn’t even match the product. And I’m not sure which Smurf gave you these too short screws but give them & my money back! I really wish I could give this less stars. ... show more
