I got this for my son for Christmas and it unfortunately took us a month to put up because of unforeseen circumstances. Well after 4 months it rusted so badly that the entire rim broke off. We haven’t had a lot of rain at all, matter of fact it’s been a month since we had any at all. I was so disappointed. Let me start by saying after I took these photos I realized I had the base backwards. It has since been turned around. I bought this for my daughter's 13th birthday and it was an absolute hit. She loves it. Assembly was a little rough as there's no words in the instructions only pictures but I was able to assemble it within an hour with a second person helping. It even came with an extra net. If I were to need to get another hoop I'd definitely get this one again ... show more

I got this thing for my son Christmas 2022 so it's been only 9 months. The backboard faded black in maybe 5 months while the net fell apart from the sun as well. Luckily it came with a 2nd net (pictured here) it also has fallen apart and turned to dust due to the sun. I'll have to source a better quality next time. Update: 15 months in and the backboard fell apart. Bought a heavy duty net to replace the two that came with it as they both fell apart in 5 months each.
