I first heard about the vibration machine from Dave Asprey and decided to look into the benefits further. As a female, I was mainly interested in bone density, circulation, improving balance, and recovery from fitness routines. Anything else was just a bonus! Then, I recently discovered what some researchers call a “fat disorder” called lipedema, a complex condition in which more adipose tissue is stored disproportionately in the lower body compared to the upper body. I completely identified with the discussion, as well as the research, as I had disproportionately larger thighs my entire life. I had worked many strategies to move the needle but was looking for additional strategies to activate the lymphatic system and reduce fat in my thighs. I pondered whether the vibration machine might work well for this, and low and behold, the LifePro blog had already written about the vibration plate for the lymphatic system - and they had already partnered with the researcher I was familiar with, Dr. Karen Herbst, who has been actively researching this area. While I don’t consider myself athletic, I regularly practice kickboxing, lift weights, and play racquetball. I did take it slow when starting to use the vibration plate, but after a couple of days, I totally went for it, alternating between the pre-programmed sessions and manual sessions where I could adjust the speeds at will. I’ve watched a few videos in the VIP section about how I can incorporate strength training with the vibration plate, but I’ve barely scratched the surface with it. So, how has it helped me in a very short amount of time? Well, I can say that after sitting at the dining table for a few hours on a Sunday, I jumped on the vibration plate for 10 minutes at a low speed - and the back pain generated by the dining chair completely disappeared. I was shocked. I use the vibration plate at least once per day and use various positions (like a squat position) to focus on my thighs. I also use it after a HIIT training, or prior to or after a brisk walk. I find that the vibration plate invigorates me at moderate to higher speeds, and at lower speeds, it relaxes me. I placed it right in the living room so that it is accessible for both me and my husband. I do believe that it is helping with circulation, as the veins in the left side of my leg are less painful. So I have really been looking forward to this plate and all that was to come with it. I did not receive the mat that was supposed to be included. I suffer from plantar fasciitis really bad in both feet. Physical therapy muscular massages help while there and for 1-2 days afterwards. 5 minutes into the P1 I started noticing my muscles loosen up and the muscles contracting from my thighs to my calf muscles to my feet. 10 minutes into tried the heel toe stretches… I could not do it very well until I was on my vibration plate. I am so happy to have this with my infrared light board to incorporate while on vibration plate to assist with the feet the lymphatic system muscle toning and eliminating stiffness. Working on the laptop gives all types of shoulder and neck sourness… 15 minutes into the vibration and the spareness lessened. Day 1 of use and will look forward to other benefits 2-6 weeks with a goal of 6 months to be rid of this plantar fasciitis in both feet. I am active and strength train several times a week. After pregnancies and many years in the gym, the heavy lifting had started to take a toll, putting strain on my spine and pelvis. This vibration plate has been a game changer for me. I’ve noticed a vast improvement in the soreness and tightness in my hips and back after using it regularly. The vibrations create a pleasant sensation that helps my muscles relax, and it has greatly improved my overall sense of relaxation and well-being. I've also been sleeping better since incorporating this into my routine.
