    • Good picture but I have a couple concerns
This is a decent DVD player. The picture quality is good. But I noticed that if you try to fast forward or rewind there are 3 speeds and the highest speed is not super fast. I hope this one lasts because I just replaced my last one which I had for about 10-12 years. This one is more compact and small. That’s ok as long as the quality is there. It’s hard to tell. It works good so far. The one concern I have is the remote. It’s flimsy and cheap quality. There is an LG app you can use on your phone to control the DVD player. The reviews are not great for the app, but so far it has been working fine. I am using that to get some longevity from the physical remote. I am satisfied so far, but I’m questioning the lifespan of this product. ... show more

    • Great DVD player for the price
I got this yesterday. It works fine. Setup was ok. At first when I plugged it in, I was having problems turning it on and viewing it on the TV, But it worked eventually. Everything is ok now. Setup wasn’t too bad. I had to download the apps we use. It didn’t take too long, although I feel they should have been on there already and included and NOT have to download anything. Well anyways I did it. It’s ok. I’m still giving this 5 stars. It’s not a big DVD player, for which I like the size of it. Overall… for the money it’s ok. I hope it lasts a while, unlike the other DVD players I’ve bought, which were Sony and Samsung. I’m trying LG out now. I keep buying DVD players and it’s ridiculous! They keep going out on us. Anyways… I highly recommend this for the money. It was a good price and I got a discount too. Same day delivery. I was happy with that. The remote control app for phones actually causes more trouble and never works. This player is truly a POS. It wont play amazon prime movie app. Freezes constantly, there is no way to update the app and the version on the menu is literally stone age old. So it wont play, or it will play the sound for 1 minute with a blank screen then quit or it will get to the menu and quit. Its line of sight from my starlink router and none of my other devices that are further away have any trouble. The dvd door wont open sometimes and its scary wondering if this is the time I wont get my dvd back. I HATE this stupid useless pile of junk. It is getting returned ASAP. It drops off the internet every few minutes and you cant use it as just a disc player because it stops playing until you do the ENTIRE setup and enter your password. every single time. It drops off my 395 Mbps starlink 12 ft away from the rounter every few hours. At least 12 to 15 times a day. LG should be sued into oblivion for selling such garbage to consumers. ... show more
