Size: 16A Level 1 Tesla EV Charger
I took a 'gamble' on this since it had no reviews. It was the lowest cost Tesla charger I could find. It plugs in, charges as anticipated. The cord is nice and long and stretches across my entire 3-car garage. It comes with a nice carrying case. I get 2-4 miles per hour of charge, and this is dependent on the amps/voltage (most often it is 2 miles/hour. This varies but is not the chargers fault, it changes due to my home's energy output. I would note: Any chargers--including this one--that claim greater charge rate from a 120V outlet are more subject to your outlet than the charger itself. Only negative is this does NOT have a button on the charger the signals to the Tesla to open the charge port. This is a minor inconvenience since you now have to manually open the charge port from the car or from the Tesla phone app. To me, it was worth missing this feature for the lower cost. REF: I have a $50 coupon on this product, which is what made it the lowest price. ... show more
