I didn’t think I’d ever be able to get a good squat workout in again but this sissy squat machine is awesome in helping me keep good form and protect the knee. I have a repaired ACL and other ligaments in one knee and torn miniscus in the other so lower body standing exercises can be very tricky and are typically off limits for me. I love that I can get deep in a squat with proper technique with this machine. I do my curtsy lunges, dead lifts and single leg dead lifts with the support of this machine as well and do them without aggravating my knees due to bad form. Machine is very versatile in that way and allows you to do back extensions and sit ups as well. Instructions are clear in showing you how to do those moves as well. Loved that there was nothing for me to put together and it could be used straight out the box. It’s a sturdy machine and I love that I can collapse it and tuck it upright behind a chair and against the wall, easy to move around thanks to the wheels. I got this on a lightning sale, it's a great value it comes put together already, so all you have to do is take it out the box and plastic then it's ready to go. It's easy to understand how to use and you really do feel it when you're doing your workout. I weigh approximately 160 pounds and have zero issues with it. Quality is solid we'll see how it does with wear and tear over time but, I really can't complain. ... show more

I turned the basement guest bedroom into my makeshift home gym. Mostly what I have are dumbbells, a bench, an aerobic step, and some misc other stuff. I don't have a lot of space in there and when we have guests, I have to be able to bring the murphy bed down and put my stuff away. This was the PERFECT buy for my space, not only because it's super easy to use, requires ZERO assembly and has multiple uses, but it also lays flat and is easy to stow under a bed, in a closet or up against a wall. I use it for sissy squats and back extensions. I tried using it for sit ups (it says it can be used for that) but that was a no go for me. They were the most awkward and uncomfortable sit ups/crunches of my life. If you're looking at this specifically for sit ups, I would advise you to reconsider. If you're looking at it for sissy squats and back extensions, I can ABSOLUTELY recommend! Just make sure you extend the support beam on the bottom all the way out so it won't tip over with your weight. I use this with every single workout for both exercises and I absolutely love it! I consider it a staple for any home gym and for the price, you can't beat its versatility and build quality.
