I got this as a redesign from my maturing Juice Box Expert 40. The application on my old station worked no more and, with its age, I was dreading an up and coming destruction. Lectron is a notable name in EV items and this level 2 EVSE doesn't disappoint. The case is not difficult to introduce with four screws into the wall and four additional screws into the actual unit. It's likewise fast to set with the application (which is exceptionally exact coincidentally). I have mine modified to a maximum of 32 amps as my vehicle just draws 28 with no guarantees. 48 amps will be A lot for the vast majority. However, one thing I didn't comprehend until glancing through the directions... to use its limit of 48 amps, the container should be designed. What really impressed me was the flexibility with adjustable amperage levels (10, 20, 40, and 48 amps). Its maximum 48 amps ensures rapid charging, ideal for those needing a full charge in under two hours. In order to utilize that I had to change a couple things with my charging setup. Heavier gauge wire and a different outlet. Where, for my needs, closer to 20 worked great. The user-friendly app mirrors the convenience of Chargepoint, providing real-time charging updates. It's compatible with both our EVs, Fiat 500e and Tesla (with an adapter).     • Cable is a little short, but the charger works great
Size: for J1772 EVs with App Control
Note that the cable is only 16ft long. That's fine if you park right next to your charger, but if your current charger has a 25ft cable and you are used to using that, you'll definitely notice how much shorter this is. It is smaller than it looks in the pictures. That's probably because it lacks the screen that most chargers have. It actually advertises that lack of a screen as a feature. Well, all that info is in the app anyway. Speaking of the app, it actually works quite well and is easy to use. Some of these EV charger apps are terrible, but I don't mind this one at all. You can easily schedule your charging if you need to. I don't bother with that since my electricity is always the same price. You can set it up to just plug and charge, which is what I usually do. Nobody has had any problems with this. I set it up in the garage in another one of my properties, which means it gets used by relatives all the time without me supervising. They like to break things, but nobody has broken this. It comes with a bracket to install it. If you can operate a drill, you can install that. If you already have a 14-50 outlet, you don't need professional anything. Hardwiring it really should be done by an electrician though. That's a lot of potential to burn down your house.
