This is quite a powerful leaf blower. It has 5 power settings plus a turbo mode which turns it up to 11. The design is well balance so that when a battery is installed it is easy to hold with one hand and aim the nozzle. The battery life is pretty good, but because each battery is 6 amp hours, they do take a while to charge. I'm talking several hours from a nearly dead battery to fully charged. Good thing it comes with two batteries. It's a pretty simple kit but it's a pretty good blower and seems like it's priced well for what you get. ... show more

It comes with 2 batteries that charge quickly and last for quality while. There are multiple speeds that change quickly with the push of your thumb on the handle. Product includes a manual, blower base, 2-piece snap-on blower extension, two 6A batteries and one 120V charger. Note: If I go back to the product page on Amazon (10 days after I placed my order), I see the batteries changed from 6A to 4A. The batteries I received were 6A. Pluses + One year warranty for home use; 90-day warranty for commercial use. + Extremely easy to assemble or disassemble -- literally takes seconds -- all parts fit well together. + Very good balance at the hand grip. + Five speeds plus Turbo button (Turbo button is a shortcut to the 5th speed) + One hard operation: Thumb controls on top of the handle for power on/off and to cycle through speed selections. + Easy to remove and snap in a new battery. Minuses - If you momentarily turn the power off, you lose your current speed setting (defaults to the lowest speed). - There is no trigger to instantly engage/disengage the blower. I personally like having a trigger switch. - The charger mounts directly onto a power socket. The charger doesn't fit onto any of my covered outside power outlets without an extension cord. My name brand blowers have chargers with AC power cords and the battery mounts directly onto the charger (similar to how it mounts onto the blower). - It took 2.25 hours to charge each battery In all fairness, the Amazon product page states it takes 2 hours to charge the battery. However, this is about 50% longer than my brand name blower with 4A batteries. - The charger got very warm during charging - overly warm in my opinion. The brand name charger barely gets warm. I'm very leery of using this charger without keeping an eye on it because of the heat. Other Observations: The manual was reasonably good but has the usual translation gaffs and other oddities (product brand name is different, states power requirement for charger as 220V 50Hz, warranty wording is odd). Be sure to read the warnings about letting a warm battery cool off before charging it - good advice for any lithium ion battery. In my testing, the batteries barely got warm. The Amazon product page says a charge lasts 20-30 minutes. I got about 15 minutes out of one battery and about 22 minutes out of the other one. On average, I set the speed to 3 or 4 (out of 5 speeds). I found speeds 1-2 too slow for anthing except dust, 3 is good for smooth surfaces with a shallow layer of leaves, 4-5 is best for yard work/gravel driveways especially if you have a lot of leaves. It didn't work that well with wet leaves but neither do my other battery and electric blowers. The noise seemed about the same as my other battery blowers - a bit less than an AC blower and far less than a gas blower. Bottom line, I like the balance and feel of this unit. Having 5 speeds is nice. Run time before recharging is about 20 minutes. I think the charger could be beefier since the charger gets excessively warm. The design of the charger requires a separate power cord for use on many outside electrical connections. I knocked one star off the rating for the charger. ... show more

I charged both batteries, but I didn't time how long they took to charge. Sorry. But this thing went together in seconds. It's very light weight. With my old, corded blower, I'd have to first hook up a 12' heavy duty extension cord just to get out of my garage door. Then a 50' heavy duty with another 12' cord, just to reach the bottom of my driveway. If I want to do the front of the yard it's another 24' of extension cord, so needless to say, that doesn't get done often. And to be honest, I wasn't expecting much from a cordless blower. I'm SO happy to say that I was wrong! NO MORE EXTENSION CORDS, NOT EVEN ONE! I just hate rolling those things up again, and that 50' one is heavy! Well, this 73 year old female got 'er done in 30 minutes. My drive was COVERED in acorns (live oaks are beautiful, but boy, do they drop the nuts!), twigs and leaves from the storm that came through yesterday, and a bunch of hickory nuts from another tree. Many of the nuts were crushed into a sodden mess from my SUV driving over them. It was a complete mess! 30 minutes later, not only was my driveway cleared (and now in need of pressure washing!), but the entire front of my lawn by the street, AND my walkway to the house and small porch area! In 30 minutes! Did I mention, NO EXTENSION CORDS!? Even without the cord on it, my old corded blower weighed a lot more than this unit does, so it's also easy on the arms and back! The 6 speeds were perfect, low for dry areas, then raise the air pressure as the debris gets harder to move. (Old blower? 2 speeds, end of story) AND IT'S QUIETER! It's a lot easier on the ears that my corded blower is! And I did all of that clean up on one battery, which still isn't registering as low power! This thing honestly blew my mind. And all I can think of it, WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE??? 2 thumbs up from me, wish I had another 2 hands so I could give it more! I LOVE THIS BLOWER!!!!! ... show more
