  • I really like this lawn Mower
This lawn Mower is just perfect for my small lawn (about 400 Sq feet). I really like the height adjustment lever and the fact that I can cut my grass at 3 1/2 inches if I want to. The blade cuts really well, and I like the fact that it mulches. I don't really like shoving grass into trash bags. The mower is light weight, but it feels solid and the engine is quite. The battery was a pain in the butt to put in. There were there springs in the bottom of the battery well, that kept the battery from going all the way down so I just took them out. I am not recommending that anyone do this. I am just saying that it worked for me. It took about an hour to charge the battery up. Overall, I really like this mower. ... show more

  • Second Review, this Mower is Garbage - important plastic Parts break.
First Review: Got the mower, charged the battery, cut the grass. Most everything was fine up to that point. Then I checked to see if spare parts are easily available. Couldn't find a replacement blade on Amazon. Couldn't find it on eBay. Couldn't find it anywhere. The part number was listed on the manual, so I contacted the company, but they told me the mower was manufactured and sold by Amazon and I should go to them to find my blade. It's brand new so obviously I don't need a blade now and may never need one (depending on how long the battery lasts), but I'd like to know that I can get spare parts when I need to. Only the battery ($200) is available and you have to buy a charger with it. So now I am stuck with having to return a perfectly good mower over this issue or hoping nothing goes wrong soon. By the way the battery only lasted about 3/4ths of the way through my 1/3 acre lot (about 1/4 acre of grass) even when the grass wasn't very long. Second Review after a few Months: This is an update to my previous review having used it for a while. I've come to the conclusion that this mower is garbage. Yes, it is very light and easy to operate. Yes, it has plenty of power, and except for the shortcomings mentioned previously, I initially loved it. However, after two or three cuttings I noticed that my lawn wasn't cut evenly. It turned out that one side was sitting very low, almost scalping my lawn! I noticed that the back wheel on one side was sitting up into the mower very high causing the cut to be very low. When I turned it over, I saw that the back axle mount had broken and released the axle. After three attempts I found a way to drill a hole in the main body, run a wire through it to hold it in place. So far it is holding. The next problem was the bottom handle angle setting adjustment system (two toothed disks) used to set the handle in a comfortable position kept getting loose. I had to re-tighten it many times during a mowing. Finally, I tightened it so hard that something on the inside broke and I could no longer tighten it at all. I would just flop around, making it impossible to cut the grass. With the mower now useless I had to find a solution. I ended up machining down the heads of eight small screws (to fit into the narrow grooves on the outer toothed disks of the adjustment mechanism and screwed them permanently together. I have successfully mowed the lawn one time with it now, and it seems to be holding. Plastic if fine for the main body of the mower. That's part of what makes it so light. But those plastic disks are just too weak not to bend and slip past each other. Parts like that should be metal. The same goes with the axle bearing. It's plastic too. The bottom line this mower is garbage. I doubt that it will last long enough to need a new blade anyway. ... show more

  • But....the battery......
Bought in mid-July. Item shipped with a European battery (60V 5A) that didn't physically fit into the charger or the mower. Had to call Lawnmaster for a replacement battery. About a week later, got a 60V 2A battery (same size, and it fits) instead of the 60V 4A that was supposed to come with it. It works, but gives you about half the mowing time you're supposed to have. Mower itself is a beast and good in damp grass, cuts well, easy to maneuver. But it gets a little old having to recharge twice (it takes a while) to get the front or the back lawn "done". [You probably do need to have at least 2 batteries to swap in and out, to finish an average sized lawn in a reasonable amount of time.] Oh, yeah, I called Lawnmaster again on 8/4 in the hopes that the third time would be the charm, and the "right" battery has now been on backorder for a month+. You can't buy the battery on Amazon, even eBay sellers don't seem to have one and the Lawnmaster site itself shows other batteries available for purchase, but not the 60V 4A. This is a shame, as the mower itself seems pretty great. I really do like it. Either this company (Cleva North America) didn't have the product rollout ready for the US, or too many people bought this mower on Amazon, and the manufacturer doesn't have the wherewithal to make the necessary accessories. I'm pretty sure that it anything should go wrong with the mower, I'll have to buy a new one, made by another company. So, it looks like a "get what you pay for" lesson is 3/4 learned. ... show more

  • Great mower with plenty of power.
This mower is incredibly lightweight. I have a small lawn and use about 1/4 of a charge. The power was set to auto but I think it may stay on the lowest setting. I was amazed that it goes higher than I set it. So absolutely no lack of power when cutting grass about 4-5 inches dry. Only one thing Im not thrilled with is that the handle doesn't stay in the position I lock it in. There are 3 positions but it always pops out into the lowest. This is a design issue not defective, but overall I love this mower and will deal with it. ... show more

  • Battery does not last long.
I was very excited to receive my lawn mower but found out, the handle moves constantly when I turn it. And the battery does not last very long at all. I only was able to cut like a fourth of my yard. Now I am waiting for it to recharge. Which I don't know how long it is going to take. If you decide to buy this lawn mower, please order extra batteries. ... show more
