The media could not be loaded. This little lawn mower and weed wacker was easy to assemble and came with 2 fully charged batteries. This was my first time cutting grass and I found the devices very simple to use. Both my husband and I were shocked that it was able to do such a great job in our overgrown yard. You may not be able to tell by the pictures however if the grass was standing up straight instead of fallen over it would have been at least 3.5 ft tall, with that said the battery only lasted about 20 minutes however it came with 2 batteries so we were able to finish and still have some juice for the weed wacker. I do believe if my yard was not so overgrown we would have been fine with just 1 battery. Some things we learned while using the machines. The lawnmower will shut off if the grass catcher is full, if grass gets caught underneath it will shut off and you can restart the machine in a less dense area or lift it a little so it can clear itself out. We also found we had to use a higher setting and once we got the grass cut to a decent length we were able to switch it to a lower setting. We learned you can tilt the angle of the weed wacker and it comes with extra string/line. Again my yard is small so this worked very well. We were very impressed with how easy it was to manuever and how much power it has for something so small and lightweight. My lawn guy is WAY behind in getting his lawns done. So my grass is really tall but not real thick except in some spots. I couldn't wait any longer and broke down to buy this one with a weed eater. Was a bit nervous but today am happy I got it. It arrived yesterday so I started with the weed Wacker. It was super easy to assemble and fairly lightweight even with battery in it. The machine worked without charging the battery. I was able to knock down the tallest areas before dark. This morning I put together the mower which again is fairly easy. By now I had charged up both batteries (they do charge up fast) and took this little guy out for his first cut. I was nervous cuz the grass and weeds were really high. I pushed in the key, pushed the button and pulled back the handle. The mower started right up so I pushed him into the tall weeds and believe it or not this guy cut right through it. I got part of my rather medium to large yard done on one battery. I had to empty my basket a gazillion times but that's real easy too. He was easy to push and is very light...he ploughed thru the tall grasses and weeds without stopping until the battery was too weak. I let him cool down and cleaned him up a bit underneath. Then soldiered on. We got almost the entire back yard done with two batteries. If this little guy continues to work like it did today I will be ecstatic. So for day 1 review yes this guy is worth the money to buy. I am 65 year old woman with Rheumatoid Arthritis and I was able to get her done with this machine. It's small but it's a workhorse. It's lite so it doesn't wear you out as easily as there mowers do. It cuts grass well. The trimmer works well too. Today I am very happy about this purchase. Our little side yard is maybe at most 1/8 acre. I did not get quite half of it mowed using both batteries (charged fully prior to use). The lawn mower clogged up and shut off every 2-4 paces making it tedious at best. Torturous is more apropos since I am allergic to grass and now have blisters all over my hands and arms from having to constantly unclog the thing. It doesn't steer well at all and it catches on every single little imperfection in the ground. So unless your yard is infinitesimally small and 100% level, this is not the lawnmower for you. It does not live up to the product description one iota. I'm disabled, so I thought this would be a good way to be able to mow the lawn myself as I am trying to remain as independent as I can. This was all I could afford and all I can comfortably lift. My mistake. It's cheap and primarily plastic, not even worth $50. I doubt it'll last a month before it breaks. I haven't even tried the trimmer yet. Not even sure I want to at this point since the mower was such a tremendous disappointment. I have parents that live in a small home with over grown lawns and with their tight budget they couldnt afford a lawn mower, they were using a push reel mower so I went onto amazon and found a decent powered mover without batteries or gas with good reviews and was pleased to find this lawnmaster mower. After a day or two it arrived and i set it up for them and with an extension cord i also picked up. This lawnmaster mower was off to the races after a few minutes of set up. You dont even need tools to set it up, its so simple to assemble. The mower looks like a toy but it means business, it will mow everything down and put it neatly into the rear bag that is able to attach and detach easily. 5/5. ... show more
