When I ordered this, I didn’t realize it was for a twin size bed. That said, this thing is BIG (without being too heavy) and almost spans the width of my queen size bed. I do a lot of work and grad studies sitting on my bed with my lap desk, and propping my regular pillows behind me was not supporting my lower back enough - I would often end up with lower back and hip pain and constantly needing to readjust. When I received this, it was compressed in the packaging and instructed the user to let it expand for 24-48 hours. Once it was expanded, I tried it out and noticed an immediate difference in my comfort and stamina. I love that the front side is slanted, because I don’t need support at my shoulder level. It holds its shape well (I’m a larger woman), it is soft to the touch, and easy to spot clean with a damp cloth. It is soft without being too squishy. While I do like this product and think it is good quality, I think the price point is too high. I would pay maybe 30-40% of the listed price for this item. ... show more

I ordered this beautiful gray velvet triangular headboard pillow to put in our guest room, where we have a bed, mattress, frame, etc., but no headboard. I did set this up in my bedroom to see how it looked, and it's very pretty, obviously made of a soft, plush fabric that turns out to be velvet. This wedge headboard pillow comes in a fairly large vacuum sealed sack, and it does take it about 36 hours to unroll and fluff up. I have a wedge pillow at the head of my bed, mostly to prevent anything from falling behind the headboard, and it's nothing like this one. I love the plush velvet fabric, how thickly and nicely this is stuffed with polyester, and the two extra head or neck pillows that come with the queen size headboard pillow. Unfortunately, this didn't make it into the guest room after we tried it out a time or two. I love to read in bed, and this pillow headboard is perfect for that. You can use this in several different ways - to prop up your knees or to support your lower back when you sit up in bed to watch TV or read - but I prefer to leave it at the top of the bed to cushion my neck and my head while I read. The cover is thick and has a zipper so you can remove it for machine washing it; just be sure to zip it back before you wash it to avoid getting stray threads. I also like to cushion my lower back with one of the head and neck rolls, of which you get two included in the queen size pillow headboard. The headboard has neat side pockets for your cell phone, reading glasses, etc., and it holds its shape very well even after a late night reading session during which I may fall asleep and sleep on it all night long. As of now, this product only comes in the dark gray pictured, and I do hope they add more colors later on. It comes in sizes from twin to king, and I'd love to have this in a California King size too. I highly recommend this triangular headboard pillow for any bed without a headboard, since it's very pretty, well made, and does a great job standing (lying ?) in for a headboard. I have a headboard in our bedroom, but this is so comfortable for reading or watching TV in bed that, after I test-drove it in there, I didn't want it to leave. This is an excellent product that does everything the listing information claims it will do and is soft and sturdy, especially the two neck roll pillows that are included. ... show more

I got this for my fifteen-year-old son, and he loves it! He has a captain's bed, and the headboard is on the length side of the bed. He lays out with his head against the wall. He used to stack pillows to get comfortable. When this came in, he was too thrilled! We let it sit and air out all day, and it came into shape. My son loves it, and he says it is very comfortable. Several times, he has removed the outer layer to wash and dry on a normal cycle, which has come out great each time. This has eliminated the need for different pillows as it is a headboard pillow and does exactly that! We are very pleased with this order. ... show more
