These were easy to configure and install. Adding them to the app is somewhat hard because the wifi signal has to be perfect or they will not pair and will timeout. They need to include more mounting clips because only 10 come with the strip and that is not enough to ensure a straight run (10 clips means one for every 1.6 feet, which is too long and makes the strip bow down between clips). ... show more

i bought the: "Lamomo LED Neon Rope Lights, Dimmable 12V 2900K LED Light Strip with Power Supply,16.4ft Warm White Led Strip IP65 Waterproof Flexible Silicone Rope Light for Indoor Outdoor Home Decoration DIY". The lights are great if you are looking for an easy to use, DIY alternative to custom neon. like a retail windo, a bar back or other decorative applications. I purchased them for the smooth look of the light to be used as a diffused ceiling light application. here are the issues: 1) they can not be combined beyond the length of the packaged product. 2) they can not be put on typical wall switch. they only work with the silly little in-line dimmer/switch. like a lamp cord switch. 3) they can not be used with a wall mounted dimmer. these are not appropriate for a proper residential installation but would be great for DIY neon projects, artistic applications and post construction decorative add-ons. if i could return them i would but its too late for that. i will have to find other places to use them in a non-dimmable way. i just cant deal with the crappy little dimmer switch that can not be wall mounted or upgradesd ... show more

I love how easy these are to install. They are such a quick and easy way to bring color and ambience to any room. These strip lights are quite long and could be used for many things. They are flexible and easy to place. We like using them as a backdrop behind our television. They would be perfect for a bar setting or underneath cabinets in the kitchen. Changing the color is simple with the provided remote or we like to control them with an app on our phone. Super convenient. The app is easy to navigate and control. I like this option as unlike a remote, my phone is almost always in my hand and readily accessible. I really enjoy how bright these are and that I can change them according to my mood without getting up. The color choices are nearly every color of the rainbow plus some. The led flexible light strips are perfect for my son, he has a gamer setup on the office and has everything gamer related and he really wanted led lights so it looks cooler. So i found this led lights and I order them and we installed the lights and we love that they are flexible and can easily move them and apply them behind and under the desk like he wants them. Mounting clips come with the package and they make it easy to apply under the desk. The led lights are bright and you can have the colors combined and you can choose patterns etc. So many choices, they come with a remote control but also you can manage them with an app and with alexa so we thought this was great and innovative. I received a replacement that was working fine until today. The red LEDs stopped functioning.
