This dryer is everything that’s promised and more - after rotator cuff surgery, it’s light enough that my arm can manage to make it through drying all of my hair at once. It’s fast and powerful and the cool setting doesn’t require you to continuously hold down a cool button. It’s super easy to use and was worth every penny. Purchased to replace my H&J which I had for 7+ years. Used by everyone in my household on a daily basis. We have 3 very different hair types, from thick, coarse, curly to thin & wavy. It works well for all 3 hair types. This model is extremely lightweight, has 3 speeds and 3 heat levels with a button for cool shot. My husband uses it on the highest speed and highest heat for his coarse curly hair and he loves it. It quickly dries his hair and keeps it controlled all day. My daughter's hair is long, thin and wavy, so I use the middle speed with mid heat to straighten it. My hair is curly and thin, and I like to diffuse on low speed, low heat. I gave it 4 stars because there's a few things that I think can be done better. The buttons that control heat, speed, and cool shot are right where my fingers land to hold the dryer so I mistakenly change it while drying. The 3 heat levels are all very hot, even the lowest heat setting is very hot. I prefer to diffuse my hair and I find that the diffuser included with this dryer has larger holes in the center so it feels more like a power shot than a diffused warm air. However, we all really like how lightweight it is. If they could somehow put the controls on the back of the handle, instead of the front and provide more of a range on the heat settings it would be a 5 star. ... show more

Love how lightweight and small dryer is but it packs a punch Even without attachments, air flow is more directed but still very quickly dries my thick, wavy hair. My hair is definitely less frizzy after using. Lil more expensive than I generally pay for hair dryer but so far worth price. Only issue is straightening attachments are magnetic or seem to be anyway, so they seemed to fall off easily when using. ... show more
