The actual headset cover looks and feels great. The lens covers will ensure protection from scratches and more importantly, the sun. The face pad cover is smoother than the one that comes with the Quest 2 and doesn't stick to your face. Finally, the controller covers are AMAZING. This set up is awesome for the Quest 2. The face cover with nose piece is nice for blocking out the little extra light you get in from the bottom of the unit. I originally had the side pieces on but had to take them off because I upgraded to a better strap set up and they no longer fit. I don’t really know if the unit cover actually reduces heat, I don’t really understand how it would since it is adding a layer of material on the outside. It does however have a beaded or textured front that rests against the front to provide cushion. The machined holes for the camera lenses and plug in are nice and straight. It doesn’t wrap super far around the unit so I need to smoosh it back into place but it has never come off all the way. The controller grips are good for doing their job. It holds right without getting in the way so all the buttons and controls are unaffected. My only gripe is a minor one but the bottoms of the straps dig into my hands providing some discomfort but it’s a Velcro hold so eventually it will soften up and be a bit more malleable. The lens covers are pretty loose but I also have blue light lens covers which probably are a little bigger than the kiwi covers are meant for. They don’t hold in place perfectly but they don’t fall off on their own. ... show more

Our old silicone mask cover was well-used and starting to tear. The shipping on that one was really far out, so I bought this one thinking "how different could they really be?" Turns out, quite different. This one isn't as stable and my 11 year-old says the nose piece is really uncomfortable and too big for her. That wasn't a problem with the old one, so lesson learned. The cover does what it should. Easy to put on and stays on during play. The nose piece can bug sometimes but it does a good job of blocking out any light. I don't really use the lens covers. I feel like they'd just smudge my lenses and they don't stay on very well.
