I bought this as a gift for a grandparent and got everything ready before gifting it so I could help them learn how to use it. I washed the blanket before using and because it’s a shade of red and a very plush blanket, I anticipated lots of bleeding dye, and also lots of lint or “shedding”; however, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the dyes did not bleed and there was zero shedding or lint. The first time I turned on the blanket, I hadn’t yet read the instructions in full, but I found it very intuitive to use. The blanket got warm quickly and I appreciated the temperature choices and also length of time until it turned off. I appreciated that it could not stay on indefinitely, for safety purposes. The grandparent who received this LOVED it and was able to quickly and easily figure it out without any frustration or confusion. I would absolutely buy this blanket again, though next time I will insist on having at least a queen size so that an adult can comfortable wrap up their entire body without feet or shoulders being uncovered as the person tosses and turns at night. ... show more

I was looking for a twin sized electric blanket and despite typing that in Amazon put this throw in the results and me trusting that and not double checking i got this one and I’m really happy with it. I’m 5’11 220lbs and it still covers me. It heats evenly throughout the blanket. I’d buy it again.

The fabric is comfortable and wonderful. I enjoyed every moment of it for two days. It is soft, and it is warm with the heater running. I was very happy. Now that two days are up, I have an E 1 message on my remote. This is not mentioned in the manual anywhere. I rebooted many times. I'm furious! What a waste of good money!
