This blanket is a nice size, it's not too small or too thin and doesn't take up alot of space, which is the main reason I bought it. It's actually perfect and so comfortable. Some blankets like these feel cheap, not this one. The purple color is beautiful and velvety, the other side, I think it's called Sherpa? It is so soft, absolutely no shedding. It keeps you warm but doesn't make you sweaty (I sweat in my sleep) so because of that, it's become my main blanket I sleep with.
