    • New Christmas Gift - Forced Upgrade Which Resulted in Non-Working Product and Horrible Mega Service

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our granddaughter - her only gift. As she worked to setup on Christmas, it forced a software upgrade. This resulted in the headset not powering up and/or charging. We've spent over 10 hours on service chats trying to fix. Ultimately, Meta asked that we return. They provided a "fedex" shipping label. That return process took 7 days to arrive at Mega but Mega site is still showing we haven't returned the headset. We are stuck in a horrible loop and I reach out to service daily and they are no help. I have no confidence that we will have this product replaced (brand new and under warranty). My lesson learned is that I should have returned to Amazon vs. working with Meta. It's a known service issue and noted right when you log into site but I don't think there is a fix. Buyer beware - we are weeks out and no Christmas gift or replacement in sight and no real person to talk to...just Chat AI. Very sad for a little girl who was so excited - this was her one Christmas ask and no apologies from Meta. ... show more
