And these work SO WELL!! I use them every day for about 30 minutes while I’m getting ready and doing my make up and my curls last pretty much all day. I do have naturally wavy hair so my texture is the type where I can wrap my hair and curl it without using a holding product so I understand why those with straight hair may find the curls won’t last without product. I followed the steps on the box & watched a few YouTube videos (search heatless rod for natural hair) for extra help. I didn’t see anyone add hair products but I did (Pantene hair cream & JVN hair oil) to smooth out my hair as I wrapped it around the rod (my hair is 4 days out from washing & blow drying & hair length is mid-lower back for reference). It is soft, easy to apply/take off & sleep in overnight. The photo is about 10 mins after taking it off & curls lasted about 10am-2pm. After that the curls turned to a loose wave. I would suggest using hair spray or something after removing to hold the curl, so nothing against the product itself. I would recommend this item for sure! ... show more

These heatless hair curlers definitely do the trick! For reference I have straight thin hair. I used Aussie curling spray in my hair before putting in the curlers and the results were beyond what I was expecting. The curls do fall some during the day but still stayed better than any curls I’ve done with a curling iron. The only down side is sleeping with the curlers in. If you’re not a back sleeper there are many times it feels like the curler is going to come out. Perhaps a tighter hair wrap or multiple scrunchies if you move around a lot or have thin hair. This item is great. But if you have long hair I would find one that is longer. My hair comes down to about mid back and it is too long for this. I can still use it but I have to double wrapped I think it would just work better if it werre longer. My mom's hair is just past her shoulders and it is the perfect length for her. It works great! I don't even use hair spray and it stays all day. My hair does not hold a curl when I use a curling iron but with this is stays all day. ... show more

My hair doesn’t hold very well sometimes, I guess it depends on the shampoo and conditioner I am using those times, since it slides off. Also it must be at least 75-80 percent dry for best results. I recently cut my hair and was unable to use this while my hair was measuring 26-30 inches (root to tip) at my longest pieces. However, now my hair is about 18in at the longest points and very layered and I must say this works wonders and it is so easy.
