My son can’t stand hairspray, but he has very thick straight hair that can be unruly so it often requires gel and spray. We tried this for the first time after Santa brought it and he absolutely loved it. Just have to be careful not to get any in his eye, but it works right away, giving it volume texture and control. Another customer wrote this and I had the same experience. I wanted to use this to dye my hair red for 1 night for a costume… washed my hair vigorously 3 times and it is still in there and my hair feels like straw. The review that I had the same experience as: “ If I could rate this product a -0 I would!! I bought this after reading the label and seeing that it was a temporary haircolor spray that would wash out with shampoo, and I expected it to be just that, but it was not! Immediately upon application as the directions, instruct, my hair was hard, and you could not brush through it, similar to hairspray. I was OK with this because my goal was just to see how my hair would look with this tint in it, because I have a hair appointment coming up in a few weeks. I left the product on for a couple hours, and proceeded to take a shower to wash the color out. Immediately, I noticed that I could not wash this product off of my hair. It was repelling water and was totally stuck. I used a regular regular hair shampoo, put on a thick layer of conditioner and let my hair sit, used another round of clarifying shampoo, and another long round of conditioner to sit… I still couldn’t brush through my hair because the hairspray texture was still keeping my hair, strands together, and the color did not wash out !!! I decided to give my hair rest for a day because I had already washed it numerous times. When my hair dried, it was all clumpy and had product residue, and the color was still visible. The next day I proceeded to vigorously wash my hair with Dawn dish soap for about 10 to 15 minutes in the shower. I had to vigorously brush my hair with a large tooth comb and a fine tooth comb just to free all of my hair strands from sticking together. Then I proceeded to also wash with a clarifying shampoo, and a deep conditioning mask to finish it off. My hair felt good in the shower, and I expected to look in the mirror and see that all the product was gone, but instead, I could still see a red hue in my hair. This product temporarily dyed my hair… this is NOT a wash out product. And now I’m extremely embarrassed to go to my hair appointment in a few weeks because I’m going to have to ask my hairstylist to strip this crappy temporary color off of my natural hair color before she attempts to add the correct color to my hair. Just really disappointing… I had completely natural hair. This is literally the worst product ever!!!!!!!” ... show more

I don’t know why there’s so few reviews? This product has been a wonderful discovery my hairdresser introduced me to last spring. With the right haircut and this I don’t feel the need to always wear a hat to cover my thinning hair. Sure it’s not perfect but overall it’s been a game changer!! Plus they have fun colors. Last Update- I frequently get a headache after using this product and it directly correlates. I will not likely continue to re-order because of this. Updated- So far this is working great and is long-lasting. I was looking for a hair color that was easy to use in between colors and extend the life of my color. The KISS tintation hair color spray seemed to be able to do this. I read from other users that the color may not wash out with certain colors and thought that wouldn't be so bad. I was looking for a permanent hair color spray but could not find it. So far, I really like that it seems to spot cover my hair easily and without much needed. It is easy enough to control. It does not come completely out with shampoo or conditioner. I can still feel the texture of the areas I sprayed but it is not bothersome. I also see that the area is still covered in color. It is minimal and worth the convenience. Just light sprays at spot growth in certain areas of my roots. It is pretty easy to control, even around the root line but can get on your actual skin. I do have to wipe my skin clean at the roots and my forehead on occasion. It does thicken your strands. I think it is worth considering but its kind of like a hair spray in texture. You may want to patch test before full commitment. It may leave texture and color that will not come out. I really like it. Medium brown seems like a reddish-brown. It still seems to blend find with my hair when I come it in and my hair is brown. It does not come off of my hair and the strand remains brown. I am not sure if the sticky feel will be my top choice in the long run if it ends up being all over. I do think this is worth considering as it does help with blending in between coloring. ... show more
