The + and - ports are on the bottom right side of Canon Mark IV batteries. This power supply has the charging connections on the bottom left and right. DOESN'T WORK unless you close the battery door!

The whole assembly is well made and functions as expected with Canon 5D Mark IV and 7D Mark II. The adapter is a bit bulky and would be much better if can be smaller for travel. Overall, a decent product.

I struggled for a bit the very first time figuring out how to make it work. There is a little notch for the cord to come out of the camera, and you just have to make sure it's well seated after which the battery cover closes fine. It did take me 2-3 minutes to figure it out, so I was initially frustrated before realizing it was a user error. Great product so far! I've used it to create several timelapse videos with my 80D and it's performed flawlessly! ... show more
