Burns well, but not as long as other review said. One is maybe 10-15 minutes. I use them to step up to full size logs in a fire, but I'd be happy to cook over a couple.

These are amazing. You can’t go wrong with any of these choices. The only complaint I have is that the cherry chucks are thinner than the hickory. I got used to the timing of the hickory slabs. 1 chunk lasted 45 minutes at 275, it was beautiful. I had to use 2-3 cherry chunks just to keep at 275-300. The entire pack only lasted me a 4 hour smoke. The hickory package lasted an 8 hour smoke. Both are great, but would recommend 2 packs of the cherry wood, whereas the hickory is good for about 8 hours ... show more

This wood is worthless. It is promoted as cherry wood for smoking and grilling meat. It doesn’t do either. Most of it crumbles under a touch and it’s useless, was thrown in the trash. Waste of money
