The first time I bought this oil, I only bought a gallon just to try it out. The second time, I went all in with the 5 gallon and a monthly renewal. This stuff burns so clean and so much longer than the tiki brand that I'd been using. (The second photo is on top of my swamp cooler, under my gazebo because I wanted to show that there are no soot marks on the underside of the gazebo!) It ends up being cheaper because it lasts so long. We have 12 torches in our yard and are swarmed with mosquitoes all the time so I burn them day and night to help keep them at bay. I'll never buy another oil. And buying from a small business owner in the USA, makes it a no brainer! ... show more

We are a big fan of tiki torches at our home, and this product is good for all summer. It seems to burn longer than your typical citronella fuel that you can buy at a big box store. It emits less smoke, which is great for setting a candle on an outdoor dinner table. Most importantly, it seems to keep bugs away at a slightly higher rate than other similar products. ... show more

Scent is subjective so I'll avoid that, other than to say I like it, personally. Lasts at least 2x longer than box store brand and it actually works. Won't eliminate bugs, but will help to minimize. Good value. Recommended.
