I did a side-by-side comparison of the more expensive boutique brand and Sweet Water Decor Frasier Fir, and SWD is so similar, more affordable, and made in the USA. Scent is like a walk in a pine forest and makes my home smell like Christmas. I really love it. Have purchased other scents of this brand and have been very pleased with all of them. ... show more

One year I was looking for a candle that wasn’t overpowering or overpriced. I found this company by chance alone and love their Fall and Winter candles the best. I also bought the tools to snuff, trim and clean the candles. I’m so happy I did because these three items make a huge difference in the way your candle lasts and burns. You will never regret the smell of snow, winter any of the others. I will not buy candles from anywhere else. These make great presents. I bought the Fraser Fir candle, since I only put up an artificial tree each Christmas but I still want it to smell like a real tree in my living room. In the past whenever I've purchased balsam scented candles they either hardly have a scent at all or they're so strong they give me headache, this one seems to be right in the middle. The scent is somewhat strong but not enough to give me a headache, and it burns evenly. A tad expensive for the size but I think it's worth it to have a non toxic candle with a nice scent. I'll probably end up buying more scents from this company. ... show more
