The chair is quite nice, the locking mechanism is a great feature, as well as the slightly self-adjusting feet. That will come in handy when used on rocky ground. I like the dual cup holders, especially the fact that one is a bit larger to accommodate big drink containers. Since it is snowy and cold here in northern Minnesota, it will be a while before it gets its first camping trip try out, so these are just first impressions of the chair. One huge thing that I am really disappointed with is that the carry bag is terribly quality. It has little snags and holes in it right out of the box, it is a paper like material, and I can see that it will not last long at all. It would have been nice to have a better material used as we like to transport our chairs in the bags, and I'd be willing to bet this one will be trashed within the first trip. ... show more

I love this chair. It sits a little higher than most folding chairs, which I like a lot. My feet are flat on the ground, it feels very comfortable. That extra little height allows you to get in and out of the chair more easily as well. Nice that it folds up and locks and you can move it around without always having to stow it in the case. Full disclosure: The locking mechanism broke on the first use of the first chair. Fast replacement of the chair via amazon and the second one is holding up well so far, but I don't expect the locking mechanism to last. Kind of wish they had just included a little "snap strap" like Coleman does on their similar model chairs. The locking mechanism is a neat idea, but I don't think it's durable. Does not affect the use of the chair as a chair and this is still my most comfortable camping chair locking or not. So 5 stars! ... show more

We love these chairs. Great for larger people. Plenty of room in the seat. Tall too. Unfortunately I ordered and paid extra for the Green but got the gray one. Had to use it so couldn't send back and chair is fine just disappointed with the wrong color.

This is my second one of these great chairs. I am 6'9" and 300+lb and find these to be very sturdy and with the perfect back angle for a comfortable sit. Most other folding chairs I have tried don't have the right recline to the back- that relaxed but not reclined angle that makes an hour reading a book totally comfortable. It has shown very little stretch and has probably had 150 days on the road with perfect reliability. My nit picks- the fitting that link the tubes together are rusting. They seem fine and I know I got them wet many times but rust turns into problems. If the fittings were stainless steel I would call it 6 stars It isn't light like a aluminum framed chair- like the Lafuma xxl I also like. The xxl weighs like 2 chairs. I use it right next to my RV and so don't cary it very far. I would take a Lafuma if it was a half mile slog through the sand to sit on the beach ... show more

I recently bought this chair for some tailgating at a Brewer's Game. The price point is nice for a heavy duty chair like this. I got it and set it up right away to check it out. I love this chair. It is easy to get in and out of because it keeps you up high, and it was very sturdy with nice pockets for holding loose items. It is very roomy, as a large person I hate being crowded in chairs, but the arms had amble room on either side for a larger person than me even. I'm 6'2" and just under the 400 lb maximum capacity. I love that the back is ventilated, I never got too hot along the back even in direct sunlight. It's a great chair for a great price, I highly recommend it. As of now I have only utilized it the one time, but it worked perfectly for quite a long period. Will update if something changes. ... show more

My husband is 5'10 and his feet BARELY touch the floor when he sits in it. Still, he really likes this chair. Very sturdy, good stitching, bright and vivid colors, and bottom side pockets (aside from the cup holders) are a real bonus for small items like cell phones. The cup holders hold even big cans pretty easily. My extra tall energy drink cans fit no problem and no tilting over. The extra wide seat is great for heavier people, but I think this was meant for people taller than us. 400 lb capacity so our kids can come jump in our laps without worrying about the chair legs snapping under the added pressure. The green one is the least expensive of this line, and luckily it just so happens to be my man's favorite color. Now I just need to find one for myself that is smaller and in purple. ... show more

I love this chair because the seat is high enough from the ground that I don't have trouble getting out of it. I don't sink down when I sit like I do in all other bag chairs. It is sturdy. It is easy to carry without its bag because it locks closed and locks open. It is easier to get into its bag than many other bag chairs I have used. It has larger feet so that it doesn't sink in sand or gravel as easily as other bag chairs. I now own two, one for each vehicle so that if I am not comfortable with the available chairs, both inside and outside, I have my own. ... show more
