Recommend for basic cleaning but would not recommend for deep cleaning (not hot enough). But for basic cleaning you dont want too hot to damage paint or item your cleaning - material furniture refresher, floor baseboard trim, ornate home decor, sanitizing counter tops and sink. I’ve never used one of these before, but I’m glad I bought this one. The steam lasts a really long time and it’s very easy to use. Also, it comes with an extra long power cable. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that portable steamers in general don’t do the best job on cleaning carpet stains. Otherwise it’s perfect. ... show more

    • The little steamer that keeps on steaming.
Few years ago, my family and I were at disney world. It was dark, we were watching fireworks and all of a sudden I felt this hot gooey stuff run down the back of my leg into my shoe. It was nacho cheese and I was livid. I could not FOR THE LIFE OF ME get the stain out of my brand new white adidas shell toes. It was in the cloth. Nothing worked. I didnt to wash it because everytime you wash shoes they are never the same aftewords. Finally I came across this product. Prime got it here swiftly. As soon as I opened it, I used the measuring cup provided in the box with the funnel and I filled it up. After about 5 minutes plugged in the red dot on the cap pops out to let you know its go time. I aimed the steam at the stain and to my absolute astonishment... it destroyed that 3 year old stain in under a minute. The shoes look like brand new. No bs. This product freakin works.     • Great hand held steamer.
I bought this to deep clean our shower. It didn't do what it needed there because there is a different issue. It did do a better job at cleaning the sink. I love the feature for steaming drapes. The little cloth for over the steamer is not needed for drapes. It just collects the hot water and makes it run down the fabric. To refill it takes a little longer than a typical floor rolling system because it's under pressure. It's not too heavy but if doing the same repetitive motion and have issues with your arms like me the break with the wait is a blessing. All in all I love it. Will be taking it with me to southern IL in October to steam my future SILs' wedding dress. ... show more
